The third spotlight hour for April 2022 in Pokemon Go will feature Oddish, the Weed Pokemon, as well as doubled capture Stardust.

Oddish Spotlight hour in Pokemon Go for April

Oddish spotlight hour will be following on from the previous Bunnelby spotlight hour, as the third of the regular events for April in Pokemon Go. The spotlight event will start at 6:00 PM local time on April 19th, ending an hour later, at 7:00 PM local time.

If you’re not familiar with these events, Spotlight hours consist of a shortened version of the community day spawn replacing feature, meaning that all you’ll see will be the featured Pokemon for that hour. That means this one will feature a lot of Oddish.

As for local time, it’s a solution to timezones; it should be 6:00 PM for you when the event starts, regardless of where you are in the world.

These events also usually feature an additional bonus on top of the featured Pokemon spawns. In this case, the bonus is doubled capture Stardust. This is likely the absolute best bonus you can hope for, as you’ll forever be in need of more Stardust, and it’ll be useful for you if you want Oddish or not, rather than just being for Oddish enthusiasts.

This way you have the option of using the event to stock up on Oddish for candy, catching them for Stardust en masse, or both.

Either way, at least these events are usually useful for shiny hunters due to a large number of specific Pokemon spawns. As shiny Oddish is enabled in Pokemon Go, this is an option for anyone interested in obtaining one – good luck with your catches.

That’s everything for this spotlight hour, but you can find more Pokemon Go content right here on The Click.
