Last Updated on: 30th June 2021, 06:08 pm

Pokemon Go is capping off the Bidoof Breakout week with a Bidoof Day special event. Make sure you’re prepared for a whole lot of Bidoof.

And to be clear, I mean a lot of Bidoof. This event is gonna look like a Bidoof community day.

When is the Pokemon Go Bidoof Day?

The Pokemon Go Bidoof day special event starts and ends on July 1sy, running from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM local time.

For those not familiar, local time means that you won’t have to worry about timezones as the time is localised to each player, so if you like the event just make sure to be around for those times in your area and you should be good.

If you’ve been attending the currently ongoing Bidoof Breakout event, you have a bit of an inkling of what to expect for what’ll happen in Pokemon Go, but you might have missed what’s been going on with the main Pokemon Twitter account.

If you have, you can see a Tweet from the official Pokemon account here, showcasing the upcoming event.

Bidoof day in Pokemon Go

First of all, we can expect to keep all of the changes of the Bidoof Breakout event, details available here.

Bidoof will also be the only Pokemon you’ll be seeing in any tier of raids. That’s right, from basic one-star raids, all the way to Legendary five-star raids – you’ll be seeing nothing but Bidoof. Quake in fear mortals, for the true PokeGod has arrived for us.

Any Bidoof you can manage to subdue and capture during the event will also know the move Superpower naturally, and if Superpower isn’t your style, you can also use a Charged TM to learn Ice Beam, Shadow Ball and Thunderbolt.

After the event, you’ll even be able to use a Elite Charged TM to teach Bidoof those same moves all over again.

Lastly, Bidoof day will even include a “Bidoof Cup” which will only allow Bidoof to compete. This’ll make an excellent way to showcase all the Bidoof you’ve earned so far during the Bidoof Breakout and Bidoof day special events in Pokemon Go.

Is that everything?

There’s also expected to be a free event-exclusive Special Research story for special rewards, – apparently, we can even expect to be able to make choices that will impact the story of this particular research, which will make for an interesting first in Pokemon Go.

And of course, completing the research will earn you a nice Bidoof-themed cosmetic item.

With all of that out of the way, If you’d be interested, you can find more Pokemon Go articles, stories and guides on The Click right here, and more pieces written by me personally here.
