To get Sorush in Genshin Impact, you need to follow the permanent progression that controls Sorush. Sorush is obtained during The Splendorous Sky That Day, the opening quest of Khvarena of Good and Evil. She becomes a gadget used throughout the Girdle of the Sands and later receives the Twin-Horned Chaplet upgrade.
This guide focuses on the part that usually stops players around Sorush in Girdle of the Sands: the prerequisite, entrance, puzzle or quest flag that the map itself does not explain clearly. It also covers what to check if the expected Sorush interaction is still missing after you reach the right place.

The most reliable way to get Sorush in Genshin Impact is to clear the prerequisites first and then follow the local route in order. Before travelling across Girdle of the Sands for Sorush, check these conditions so you do not arrive at a locked door, empty cave or inactive mechanism.
- Enter the Girdle of the Sands in northern Sumeru.
- Start The Splendorous Sky That Day, the first Khvarena of Good and Evil quest.
- Progress until the story introduces the Order of Skeptics and Sorush.
Step-by-step route
- Follow the opening quest through Temir Mountains and the first strange-object investigation.
- Meet the Skeptics and continue the dialogue with Nasejuna.
- Receive Sorush as part of the quest progression.
- Equip Sorush from the Gadget inventory when exploration mechanics ask for Pari abilities.
- Later, progress As the Khvarena’s Light Shows to obtain the Twin-Horned Chaplet upgrade.
Players who want to get Sorush in Genshin Impact should keep the active quest or exploration objective tracked while moving between these steps. Around Sorush, vertical map layers, hidden cave entrances and state-based mechanics can matter more than horizontal distance, so check the map layer as well as the marker.
Sorush can fly independently for short interactions and manipulate several Girdle of the Sands mechanisms.
The upgraded chaplet is required for some Great Song and advanced Khvarena interactions.
Why it can still look locked or incomplete
If Sorush is not in your Gadget inventory, reaching the desert alone is not enough. Track The Splendorous Sky That Day and continue until the quest formally assigns her to you.
If you still cannot get Sorush in Genshin Impact, compare your current objective with the prerequisite list before restarting the game. For Sorush, a missing quest flag is not fixed by repeating the final puzzle, and a hidden entrance will not appear just because the destination icon is visible.
Useful details before you leave the area
Using Sorush pauses ordinary character control while the gadget is active, so return to the Traveler when movement on foot is needed.
Once you get Sorush in Genshin Impact, activate the nearest Teleport Waypoint, domain marker or permanent shortcut before moving on. That turns later material farming, quest cleanup and collectible hunting around Sorush into a short return instead of a repeat of the full unlock route.
Common questions
Why can’t I get Sorush in Genshin Impact?
A good check before you get Sorush in Genshin Impact is whether the named prerequisite has actually completed, not merely started. For Sorush, also confirm you are on the correct underground or surface map layer and that any required gadget, song, clearance level or regional ability is available.
Is Sorush permanent?
Yes. Sorush is part of permanent Girdle of the Sands content rather than a limited-time event. Later game updates can adjust interface details around Sorush, but its underlying quest or exploration route remains available to accounts that have not completed it yet.
What should I do next?
Once Sorush is available, keep her equipped while completing Khvarena of Good and Evil because the chain repeatedly teaches new uses for the same gadget.
This route should let you get Sorush in Genshin Impact without relying on unintended shortcuts. For current official notices or future changes affecting Sorush, use the official Genshin Impact website after you have finished the permanent steps above.
