Tower of Fantasy: Version 2.0 Vera preview

Tower of Fantasy has released details about the release of the Version 2.0 Vera preview with some hints on what to expect from the new ToF region.
Undoubtedly the biggest update so far, since the global release of the game, the Version 2.0 Vera update will bring new characters, an entirely new map, and other fresh new content including missions and side quests. The new characters are Lin, Ruby, and Saki Fuwa. These three characters were confirmed to be released as part of the Version 2 Vera update based on the official Twitter account of Tower of Fantasy.
Before the release of these new contents, Wanderers must be aware of what to expect and how to prepare for the new parts of the game. Take note that most of the details found in the article are based on the information previously released in the Chinese version of the game.

Version 2.0 Vera Preview will include some freebies
According to the official Twitter account of Tower of Fantasy, the Version 2.0 Vera preview will have a special stream event that will premiere on our Twitch & YouTube at 4 PM (EDT) on October 13. Make sure to tune in for exclusive content, new announcements, as well as limited watch rewards!
The rewards are expected to be gift codes that can be used by players once they log in to the game. Make sure to use the gift codes as soon as you get them as these would often have a limited time and only a limited amount of players can redeem them.
You can visit the official Twitch account or the official YouTube account of Tower of Fantasy to watch the Version 2.0 Vera preview on October 13. You can also turn on the notifications for these websites to get alerts for any new content. According to the same post, the release of the new update will happen on October 20, 2022.

Basic preparation for the Version 2.0 Vera update
There has already been previous information released by Hotta Studios on what to expect once the Version 2.0 Vera update is released. One of them is the gachapon system that they will have together with the release of the update. According to the Hotta Studios, there will be corresponding gachapons for each blue and purple chest that are opened with their corresponding chips as long as they are opened in the Vera region.
There will also be a variety of new monsters roaming around the Vera region.
To prepare, ideally, make sure that you have at least one SSR weapon for each resonance at its maximum level as the Vera region will not be like Asperia where most of the monsters are related to the Hyena. The Version 2.0 Vera update is also expected to come with a new world boss. Based on the Chinese version of the game and the previous trailers released for the global version of the game, the new world boss is Rudolph.
Using the location currently in the Chinese version, this world boss can be found in the desert far from the city of Mirroria. This world boss has both the resonance of Flame and Volt. Rudolph will alternate from the elements depending on the current status of the world boss. Its normal attacks would often have high frequencies of lightning skills but when it accumulates enough damage, it will overheat and use Flame-based attacks as part of its ultimate attacks.
