Resident Evil 4 is almost here. It won’t be long until millions of players are again taking control of Leon Kennedy as he is tasked with rescuing Ashley, the President’s daughter.

Over the years, thanks to the game being ported to almost every system that has been released since its initial release, Resident Evil 4 has become one of the best selling games in the series, going on to sell over 12 million copies worldwide.

But when it comes to the Resident Evil 4 Remake, when can you play it? We have the answer below.

Capcom has had a strange history when it comes to releasing times, with PC often getting the short end of the stick. In the past, we’ve seen games on PC not unlock until late into the release date while it unlocked at midnight on console.

However, when it comes to Resident Evil 4 Remake, we expect the game to unlock at midnight in your local time zone. This means that countries such as Australia and New Zealand will see the game unlock long before the United States.

It is worth noting that when it comes to the United States that the game will unlock across the country at midnight EDT, so it will be at 9 pm PDT on March 23rd, 2023.

As far as we can tell, this should apply to all platforms, PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Of course, if you have a physical version of the game, you can play it immediately as soon as you’ve installed it, regardless of whether it is the official release date.
