Dragonite Revealed In Pokemon Unite

Dragonite, the 149th Pokemon in the generation 1 Pokedex, will be the next Pokemon to come to Pokemon Unite.

In a video announcement on Twitter, it was revealed that the Kanto region Pokemon will be coming to the game later this week on Sunday, December 19th at 4 pm PT/7 pm EST/12 am GMT.

Dragonite will be a powerful all-rounder character, similar to Pokemon such as Lucario, Machamp, and Charizard, which will surely make the Dragon-type Pokemon one of the most popular characters in the game.

But, many players aren’t too happy with the announcement judging by the replies on the tweet, with many players saying that the developers should focus on fixing the game rather than adding more characters to the game.

Pokemon Unite appears to be having a lot of problems with hackers and cheaters at the minute, as well as the usual glitches and other issues, but it is creating a very negative experience for players, so to see the developers ignore them in favor of adding a new character feels like a slap in the face for some people.

If the developers choose to ignore the multitude of issues that the game then the game could end up with a rapidly declining player base which wouldn’t be good.

Pokemon Unite is available now on Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android and is free to play.
