Decidueye takes aim at Pokemon Unite!

The newest addition to the growing roster of playable Pokemon in the MOBA Pokemon Unite has finally been revealed as the Arrow Quill Pokemon, Decidueye

A New Addition to Pokemon Unite

There has been no shortage of new additions to the Unite roster in the past few months, with a new Unite License being added every month.

That trend continues strong as we get yet another interesting addition in Pokemon Unite, Decidueye, the Grass/Ghost-type starter from Alola, and the latest ranged Physical-Attacker.

Unlike some of the recently released attackers Sylveon and Gardevoir, Decidueye has a focus on range that makes it a more artillery-oriented Pokemon that would certainly be valuable for any team looking for more objective control.

Decidueye’s Moves

Decidueye as an archer-themed Pokemon has a variety of interesting moves to capitalize on its unique motif.

This Pokemon’s ability is Long-Reach and makes its attacks do additional damage at long-range, meaning Decidueye is a Pokemon who benefits from playing from the backline.

Like most other dual-types, Deceidueye has moves to reflect both the Grass and Ghost-typings.

It has access to its signature move Spirit Shackle, which is a long-range arrow shot that increases in damage the longer it’s charged, as well as Shadow-Sneak, both of which are effective debuff’s against opponent Pokemon.

For its Grass-typing, Decidueye can learn Razor-Leaf providing consistent damage by increasing its attack speed, or Leaf-Storm which provides a useful displacement option at point-blank range.

Decidueye’s Unite move, called Nock-Nock, fires a barrage of arrows in front of it, ending with a large final arrow that does a burst of damage on impact!

Decidueye is scheduled to release on November 19th, 2021 and its Unite License will cost 8,000 Aeos coins or 460 Aeos Gems, and is a welcome addition to any band of merry-men needing some aviary artillery.
