Final Super Smash Bros Ultimate fighter to be revealed in October

In the past, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate showed that characters from non-Nintendo game franchises such as Tekken could make it into a Smash Brothers game.
So, many fans have been speculating about who will be the final fighter to join the battle. Some fans hoped that Dante from Devil May Cry would be added to the game, while others hoped for Halo’s Master Chief.
Meanwhile, the Youtube chat was truly convinced that rapper Kanye West would be the game’s final fighter.
Fans of Nintendo logged onto Nintendo’s Twitch and Youtube channel to finally find out who would be the new fighter for Super Smash Bros: Ultimate.
However, Nintendo announced that fans will need to wait a little longer for the reveal of Super Smash Bros: Ultimate’s final fighter.
During the Direct, Nintendo teased fans with the Super Smash Bros: Ultimate theme. However, fans learned quickly that it will be a bit longer before we see who the final fighter will be.

The game’s final fighter will be revealed on October 5th at 7 AM PST/ 10 AM EST during The Final Mr.Sakurai Presents for Super Smash Bros: Ultimate.
The presentation will feature the series’ beloved director Masahiro Sakurai showing off the new fighter and walking viewers through everything they need to know about the new character including their moveset and abilities.

This was not the only time during the Nintendo Direct that fans were told about upcoming content announcements. Nintendo also announced that Animal Crossing will have a separate Nintendo Direct set to be shown at some point during the month of October.
