Fans of the Dead Space series were overjoyed when it was announced that EA is actively developing the Dead Space Remake, with it being the first new entry in the series for a decade and the original game is often hailed as one of the greatest survival horror games of all time.

Although information regarding the Dead Space Remake has been rather lacking, and even more so when it comes to gameplay, EA has finally givens fans an official release date for the game, as well as when players can expect to see gameplay.

Originally, EA was planning on releasing the game in October 2022 but decided to give the developers more time to ensure it’s the game that fans deserve.

During a recent earnings call, EA announced that Dead Space Remake will be released during Q4 of its fiscal year, which ends on March 31st, 2023, as well as releasing a new major IP during the quarter as well, which is believed to be Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, a sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order.

Now, EA and Motive have given fans a concrete release date rather than a release window and we can confirm that Dead Space Remake will be released on January 27th, 2023.

Motive is also expected to reveal gameplay in October, so fans have that to look forward to in just a few months.
