WWE 2K22: How to defeat Roman Reigns on Legendary difficulty

WWE 2K22 is finally here and 2K has completely overhauled the game, giving fans the wrestling game they’ve desperately wanted for many years. As with previous games, there are plenty of achievements to unlock in WWE 2K22 with one of the most difficult ones being Acknowledge Me, which is unlocked by defeating Roman Reigns on Legendary difficulty.

Similar achievements have been in previous titles, with one being the same achievement but against The Undertaker, but with Reigns currently being the hottest Superstar in the company, it makes sense for the Head of the Table to be the most difficult Superstar in the game.

But, it doesn’t have to be difficult, in fact, you can defeat Roman Reigns in WWE 2K22 in less than 10 seconds, here is how to do it.

How to defeat Roman Reigns on Legendary difficulty

To unlock this achievement, you need to defeat Roman Reigns on Legendary difficulty, which sounds difficult but it can be done very easily in a matter of seconds by following these steps.

The achievement will only unlock if you do a One On One, Normal match, choosing any other match type will prevent the achievement from unlocking.

For this achievement, although it doesn’t matter too much who you choose, Roman Reigns is one of the highest-rated Superstars in WWE 2K22 with a rating of 95, so it makes sense to choose another highly rated Superstar, Brock Lesnar is rated 94 so that makes him a good choice.

Before starting the match, make sure to set it up correctly by going into the match options. First, turn off the ability to win the match by pin or submission and turn on Finisher Match, basically copy the images below and make sure they match.

Turning DQ and rope break off isn’t a requiring so it is up to you whether you leave them turned on, but make sure that all run-in options are turned off.

Finally, choose the option to start the match with three finishers. You only need one but it helps to have more just in case Roman Reigns reverses your first attempt. Once you’ve set it up you can start the match.

As soon as the match starts, you want to hit your finisher as soon as possible. We have had the most success by using a running attack on Roman Reigns first to immobilize him briefly. Then you can either charge your finisher or wait for him to get up and then hit your finish by pressing either RT + A or R2 + X depending on which controller you are using.

As soon as you hit your finishing move the match was end and you will be declared the winner and the Acknowledge Me achievement will unlock. In total, this should take approximately 10 seconds to complete.
