Tower of Fantasy‘s missions seem to be pretty straightforward. Most of the time, all you need to do is head over to the marked location on your map, fight enemies, and you’ll surely make progress. There are no mind-boggling puzzles at all.

However, that changes when you have to look for Astrum in a lab. Along the way, you’ll be asked to “raise laser projector” and “turn on laser trap.” You’re not even sure which is which.

If you’re stuck and are wondering how to solve this, you’ve come to the right place. In this guide, we’ll tell you how you can make progress.

Here’s how you can raise the laser projector and turn on the laser trap

Solving the puzzle in this map is pretty simple when you already know how the mechanisms work. Below are the steps:

Step 1: Locate the laser projector and lift it. As its name suggests, this is a box-like object that emits a laser beam. Lifting this (the beam will automatically hit the laser trap) will turn on the mechanical elevator.

Step 2: To move freely, toss the laser projector and rush towards the supply pod. Do this quickly before the mechanical elevator goes up again, making the supply pod inaccessible.

Step 3: Activate the supply pod. Once done, the elevator going downstairs will be activated.

Step 4: Go downstairs via the elevator. If you want, you can bring the laser projector. However, this is unnecessary as there will be another laser projector in the next location.

Step 5: If you carry the laser projector with you, going down to the next level will have the projector’s beam hit the laser trap. If you are not carrying the previous projector, simply lift the one in the new area.

Step 6: Similar to the previous floor, toss the laser projector and rush towards the supply pod on the left side of the area.

Step 7: Activate the supply pod. Once done, the elevator going downstairs will be activated. You can bring the laser projector with you, but this is unnecessary.
