One of the objectives you’ll come across in some game modes of Deep Rock Galactic is the repair of a mini mule, here’s how to do just that.

How to repair a Mini Mule in Deep Rock Galactic

To repair a Mini Mule, you’ll first need to find a damaged chassis in your Deep Rock mission. Following that, you need to locate the missing legs, mine them out, and attach them back to the Mini Mule. After 3 legs, you’ll just need to hold E to finish the repairs.

Repairing a handful of Mini Mules is typically the first objective in Salvage missions in Deep Rock Galactic, depending on mission length you’ll likely need two of them though some need three.

The legs flash when left alone or buried in the ground, so they’re usually not too hard to find. You can also interact with the broken Mini Mules to download missing limb data using the interact key, allowing you to use your map to track down the missing legs.

When they’ve been unearthed by mining the tile they’re wedged into, they can be carried back to the Mini Mule to get them back into place. Be aware that you can make use of Bosco to carry these in Solo missions, and the arms can be safely thrown to get them out of the way during fights, or to get them up a ledge.

You’ll typically get additional legs to spawn as well in the vicinity around a broken Mini Mule, meaning if you can’t find enough legs available at the first location, you might well be able to repurpose a spare one at the second to fix the other damage Mini Mule.

Be sure to keep your health topped off in these missions, as Salvage can drag on a bit with the number of different objectives it has. If only you could bring along more friends to help out.
