Back 4 Blood is finally here and it brings very fun and chaotic action as players mow down hundreds of Ridden during every level, this is the new Left 4 Dead game fans have been hoping would be released for a decade.

The game features eight characters to choose from, each with their own unique skills and abilities, really helping to make players think about which role they want to play on their team.

Four of the characters are unlocked from the start, while the remaining four need unlocking by playing the game.

Here is how to unlock Hoffman in Back 4 blood.

How to unlock Hoffman

In total there are eight characters to choose from in Back 4 Blood, with four being available from the start, Evangelo, Walker, Holly, and Mom, and four needing to be unlocked, Doc, Hoffman, Jim, and Karlee.

To unlock Hoffman, and the other three characters, players need to complete The Devil’s Return, which consists of four missions and is the first section of Act 1.

Upon completion of the final mission, The Crossing, Hoffman and the other three characters will unlock.

The Crossing is quite difficult for first-time players, with it being quite confusing as to what you need to do.

When the fuel tank is destroyed and the bridge becomes accessible, run across it immediately otherwise you will be faced with an endless wave of enemies which will certainly kill you eventually.

Run across the bridge as quickly as you can to the ship and head to the deck to leave it and grab the explosives to plant on it to destroy it along with the hundreds of Ridden to complete the mission.
