Back 4 Blood is one of the most fun gaming experiences in quite a while, with players mowing down hundreds of Ridden during every mission, it certainly is chaotic.

In total, players can choose between eight different characters, each with their own abilities and specialities, with them being Evangelo, Walker, Holly, Mom, Jim, Hoffman, Doc, and Karlee.

Four of them are available from the start, with the remaining four needing to be unlocked.

Here is how to unlock Jim in Back 4 Blood.

How to unlock Jim

Jim is one of the four locked characters when players first start Back 4 Blood, with the other three being Doc, Hoffman, and Karlee.

To unlock Jim, players need to complete the first four missions in Act 1, with the fourth mission being The Devil’s Return.

Once you complete the mission the remaining four characters will be unlocked at the same time, giving players access to the entire character roster.

The Devil’s Return is an incredibly fun mission, but one that can be quite difficult for new players.

To complete it, when you explode the tank, immediately run as fast as you can over the bridge. If you hang around you will face endless waves of Ridden and Mutations and will certainly be killed by them eventually.

Run as fast as you can over the bridge and then get to the deck of the ship to continue with the mission, which will see bombs be planted on the ship to destroy it along with hundreds of Ridden.
