‘When is Sims 4 coming to the Nintendo Switch?’, is often a topic of interest for Sims 4 players, with players wanting to know when they can play on the handheld, portable device.

The hugely popular EA game was first released back in February 2000 on the Playstation 2 and has continued to grow from strength to strength ever since. The real-life simulation game gives players the freedom to create people of their choice. Their careers, humor, characteristics, clothing, relationships, accommodation, and even hobbies all come down to the players’ own preferences.

With other popular EA titles being released on the Nintendo Switch, and with games such as Animal Crossing on the Nintendo Switch, a similar concept of gameplay where you are in control of the lives of an island community and mapping out every aspect of the character’s lives, doesn’t that then also make the Nintendo Switch the perfect console to be home of The Sims 4?

According to sources, Sims 4 is widely popular amongst Playsation, PC, and Xbox players, with the release of Sims 4 on the Nintendo Switch being deemed a waste. However, gamers would disagree. The portability of the Nintendo Switch and the nature of Sims 4 means they are highly compatible, and from a gamer’s point of view, that opportunity is a missed opportunity.
