The Roblox Moderated Item Robux Policy is designed to protect players from purchases involving items that are in violation of the Roblox Terms of Use or Roblox Community Guidelines. Once the fraudulent activity is detected, Roblox will refund the Robux of the scammed player and terminate the scammer’s account.

An example is when a player purchases an in-game item that would go missing from the inventory later. If the player is proven to have been defrauded of their money and has not simply missed the item (probably by scrolling too fast), Roblox will have to credit the Robux back to the player’s account.

While this doesn’t necessarily solve other fraudulent activities in-game such as trading scams, the Roblox Moderated Item Robux Policy is definitely a milestone for a better and safer Roblox.

Should I apply for a refund for “Roblox Moderated Item Robux Policy” to work?

No, players don’t need to apply for a refund. The Roblox official account will simply send them a Direct Message if they are eligible for one.

If the player hasn’t agreed to the terms yet, they can do so by clicking the Agreement from the message they will receive.

It is important to note that players will not receive any refunds if Roblox did not previously notify them about their eligibility.
