There are a lot of new things in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl, but there’s also a lot of features returning from previous games. One of those things is the Amulet Coin, an item that you can give to one of your Pokemon to double the money they earn from Pokemon battles! If you have one Pokemon in your party that you use above all others, it’s well worth checking out how you can find this below. It’s also handy if you’re looking to save up for something like a TM from Veilstone City – they’re not cheap!

How to get an Amulet Coin in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl

The Amulet Coin can be found in a cave in the northern areas of Amity Square, but how do you get there?

Amity Square is located in the northern areas of Hearthome City, which can be accessed after beating Gardenia – Eterna City’s Gym Leader and the second Gym Leader you’ll face in your quest to beat the Elite Four.

When you get to Amity Square, you’re going to be able to explore the area with your favourite Pokemon and there’s a lot of places to check out. If you head east to a set of stairs and head up them, you’re on the right track. Then, you need to continue north until you read two small caves.

The Amulet Coin is located in the cave on the left and you’ll need to enter the cave and press “A” until you pick up the hidden item. It’s important to note that you should make sure you equip the Amulet Coin once you’ve picked it up – otherwise it’s just stuck in your Item Bag!
