Pokémon BDSP: How to find Lucky Egg

The Lucky Egg is an amazing item that helps a bunch when you find new Pokémon to raise. By increasing the amount of earned Exp by 50%, combining it with the Exp. Share can make your whole team stronger in no time.

So for that purpose and many others, we’ll show you how you can find the Lucky Egg in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl!

How to find the Lucky Egg in BDSP

The usual method to find a Lucky Egg is to get them directly from wild Chanseys. The Egg Pokémon has a chance of holding it whenever you find it, but they are almost as rare as the egg itself. And BDSP makes it even worse, as there are no wild Chanseys to be found.

So that leaves us with two other methods: Getting one from the Grand Underground or waiting for the Battle Tower to be available and buying it there.

The Grand Underground is available after arriving at Eterna City and getting the Explorer Kit, and it’s the updated version of the original games’ Underground.

By using the Explorer Kit in Acuity Lakefront and heading to the northwest corner of the map, you’ll soon reach a Hideaway, the Icy Cave. 

Among the many Pokémon you can find hidden within it, you’ll find a Poké Ball left on the ground for you to claim near the edge of the lake. Getting it will grant you the Lucky Egg without going through the pain of finding a Chansey.

The other method requires you to defeat the Elite Four before you can get the eggs. After beating them, you’ll unlock the Battle Tower, in which you’ll earn BP by participating in its special battles.

You can spend this BP to get some rare items from the store. And among them, you can find the Lucky Egg, costing exactly 77 BP. While you can theoretically get infinite eggs from this method, it requires some grinding.
