Halo MCC CE: Where is the Iron Skull in the first mission?

The Iron skull is located in the first mission, the Pillar of Autumn of Halo CE in MCC, but where exactly is the first skull to be found?

This is one of the easiest in the game to get when you know where to find it, though you can be forgiven for missing it as if you don’t think to check here right away you’ll not get a second chance without a mission restart.

Where is the Iron skull in MCC Halo CE?

To find the Iron skull, you’ll need to load up the first mission, The Pillar of Autumn, in Halo MCC CE. Ideally, you should do so on a higher difficulty than Normal to skip the slow introduction that calibrates your controls.

When you stand up, you’ll be facing the wall next to the intended exit, where the assistant runs. You’ll need to spin around and face the opposite far side of the room, the Iron Skull is tucked away behind two large containers over there, as shown below.

Simply wander over there and then behind the containers to grab the Iron skull for yourself, and that should trigger the relevant achievements for you almost immediately.

Iron is the only skull in this level as well, so after this one you’ve finished the Pillar of Autumns skull collection.
