Genshin Impact: Xingqiu’s Ascension Materials and their locations

Xingqiu is a 4-star Hydro character in Genshin Impact. He is the second son of the Guild Manager of the Feiyun Commerce Guild and a practitioner of the Guhua Clan’s arts.
An avid reader, Xingqiu wants to become the embodiment of chivalry similar to the heroes from the books he loves to read. However, he also has his fair share of mischief.

VARUNADA LAZURITE GEMS
This group of gems is used for ascending Hydro characters. You can obtain them primarily by fighting Normal Bosses and Weekly Bosses.

If you’re new to the game, you can craft higher rarity gems or convert one gem into another via Alchemy. You can do this by interacting with the crafting benches in the different cities in Teyvat.
CLEANSING HEART
This Character Ascension Material is dropped by the Normal Boss Lv 30+ Rhodeia of Loch. Therefore, you can hit two birds with one stone (get gems and Cleansing Heart) by fighting this boss. Check out its location below.
SILK FLOWER

DAMAGED, STAINED, and OMINOUS MASKS
These items are dropped by all kinds of Hilichurls all over Teyvat. Suppose you’re running low on these materials and are unsure where to find some Hilichurls. In that case, you can check the enemy’s location by going to the Paimon Menu > Adventurer Handbook > Enemies > Hilichurl > Navigate.
As mentioned, there are different kinds of Hilichurls and they all drop Masks. Therefore, you can search the Adventurer Handbook for Hilichurl, Mitachurl, Hilichurl Chieftain, Hilichurl Shooter, and Samachurl.
You can also craft higher rarity Hilichurl drops via Alchemy or get some from the Stardust Exchange.

Xingqiu’s Talent Level-Up Materials
Xingqiu‘s talent “books” or Talent Ascension Materials are the Gold Books. This set can be obtained by challenging the Taishan Mansion domain on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. This is located near Jueyun Karst in Liyue.
You can also craft higher-rarity Gold books via Alchemy.
Beyond Level 6 of Xingqiu’s Talents, he will need the Talent Level-up Material called Tail of Boreas, which can be obtained from “Wolf of the North Challenge,” a domain where you can fight Andrius.
