With that kind of description, anyone might think it’s too much to be added to food. Who would want to eat extra spicy stuff, right? However, it is actually an integral ingredient in many of the region’s dishes. Well, as they say, you have to spice things up!

Jueyun Chili locations in Genshin Impact
As mentioned, Jueyun Chili is a Local Specialty in Liyue, meaning it can only be found in the region. They can be found specifically in areas including Qingce Village and several sub-areas of Minlin. You can also buy some from one shop and even have some for free! Therefore, if you’re planning to ascend the 4-star Pyro character Xiangling and the 4-star Dendro character Yaoyao, you have many options.

While this Local Specialty might be a little too spicy for foreigners, the people of Liyue surely loves it. The many recipes this ingredient is used in are proof of that. This Local Specialty can be used to create the following dishes:

That’s a lot of recipes, right? As mentioned, this Local Specialty can also be used as an ascension material for the 4-star Pyro character Xiangling and the 4-star Dendro character Yaoyao.
Currently, no weapons require this for ascension.
