Genshin Impact: Day 1 Answers for the ‘Mesmerizing Dream at Sea’ Web Event

Genshin Impact 2.8 is definitely full of events and rewards. After sending us to the adventure-filled Golden Apple Archipelago, HoYoverse has started a new web event called Mesmerizing Dream at Sea.

Today marks the first day of the event, so if you have questions about how it works, you’ve come to the right place. We have simplified the mechanics in this article. More importantly, we have the Day 1 answers to all of Paimon‘s questions.

Web Event General Details

This web event is open to all Travelers who have reached at least Adventure Rank 32. During this event, you will try to help Paimon remember her dreams by responding correctly to her questions.

Moreover, rewards can be claimed within the duration of the web event, which runs from July 22, 2022 – July 31, 2022, 23:59 (Server Time). Make sure to claim them before Mesmerizing Dream at Sea ends.

How to participate in the ‘Mesmerizing Dream at Sea’ Web Event

To participate in the Mesmerizing Dream at Sea web event, follow the steps below:

  1. Head over to the official web event page.
  2. Log in using your UID or HoYoverse account.
  3. Select your region.

How to play ‘Mesmerizing Dream at Sea’

Below is an image of the web event’s home page. For your reference, we have assigned letters for some of the icons.

  • Letter “A” (the Lightbulb icon) is where you can claim Paimon Inspirations which you can use to play the game. The requirements for acquiring inspirations are also stated in this section. These activities include logging in to the game, completing commissions, etc.
  • Letter “B” (the Pouch icon) is where you can claim Snacks for Paimon which you can use in case you respond to her questions incorrectly. The requirements for acquiring snacks are also stated in this section. These activities include spending Mora in-game, collecting Realm Currency from your Serenitea Pot, etc.
  • Letter “C” (Enter the dream) is where you can access Paimon‘s dreams. To access these dreams, you need the inspirations from Letter “A.”

Once you have enough Paimon Inspirations, click “Enter the Dream” and choose an island. As of writing, you can still only access the first one.

Paimon will talk about her dream related to the Golden Apple Archipelago and ask you some questions. Below are the questions and correct responses for Day 1:

Question no. 1: It’s probably the first island we went to, but Paimon can’t seem to put a finger on it…

  • Correct Response: Is it an island with lots of Dodocos?

Question no. 2: What was the name of the vehicle that took us to the archipelago at that time?

  • Correct Response: The Kaboomball Fortress?

Question no. 3: Here is a rough description of how it looks. Paimon wonders what it really is…

  • Correct Response: A flying Treasure Chest?

After answering all the questions correctly, you will be notified about the rewards. For Day 1, the rewards are Primogem x20 and Mora x30000. Take note that you can claim your rewards through the in-game mailbox.
