How to Play

Now that you have unlocked the Hyakunin Ikki Event, you can participate in the domain challenges. Below are the steps on how to play it:

  1. Enter the Event Domain in Narukami Island

Narukami Island is found in the outskirts of Inazuma City and is only accessible after completing the Hyakunin Ikki: Golden Whirlwind World Quest

  1. Choose a challenge and difficulty setting.

You may choose Normal, Hard, or Extreme. It’s important to note that the higher the difficulty is, the more points you’ll receive.

  1. Choose characters to create six teams.

In this event, there are available trial characters that you may use to form 6 tag teams for the challenges. Of course, you can also use the characters you already have.

While in battle, you can switch to the next team by pressing Relay Skill. Switching is done in the order your teams were formed in and has a cooldown of 10s.

Letting a team stay on the field for more than 25 seconds will make them weaker, so switching teams frequently is recommended.

  1. Choose Secret Arts to buff your Teams.

Previously called Garyuu Arts in Version 2.1, Secret Arts can provide buffs for your team. These are divided into two kinds: Normal Secret Arts and Transmission Arts

Transmission Arts buffs can change depending on your current challenge while Normal Secret Art buffs remain the same.

  1. Check on Enemy Details before starting.

Before starting on the challenges, you can check on the enemy details. Enemies which have a mark on them are Nemesis enemies. They are stronger and would earn you more points when defeated.

  1. Accumulate Ferocious Fervor to get buffs.

As previously mentioned, switching teams is recommended. This way, you can increase your Ferocious Fervor level and give you battle buffs during the stage.

  1. Complete challenge objectives for rewards.

Defeat enemies within the time limit and avoid having both members of a single team knocked out. If both members of any tag team are defeated, you will fail the challenge.

Note that Resonance, Food, or Items will have no effect or will not be usable during the event challenges.

Moreover, Co-Op Mode is not available for this event.
