Genshin Impact 2.6 leaks: New artifact sets for Xiao and Ayato

Genshin Impact version 2.5 just dropped, but leaks for the next update are already coming out, and now we have some new information on the upcoming artifact sets, made especially for Xiao and Ayato.
Xiao mains have struggled for over a year with finding the best combination for the Vigilant Yaksha. While 2-pieces Viridescent + 2-pieces Gladiator is a decent, proven combo, he had no set tailored for him just like Eula or Raiden had on their releases. That problem will finally be solved.
And at the same time, the game’s new husbando Kamisato Ayato will also receive a new set made for him, which may also be a good fit for other characters. Both of the new sets will be introduced in 2.6, probably somewhere along The Chasm.
New artifact sets for Xiao and Ayato
Among all of the new leaks, Project Celestia provided us with information on the new artifacts introduced in the next update.

Vermillion Hereafter
2pc: ATK +18%
4pc: After using an Elemental Burst, the character will gain a buff, increasing their ATK by 8% for 16s. When the character loses HP, Their ATK will further increase by 10%. This increase can occur up to once every 0.8s, max 4 stacks.
The long-awaited Xiao set increases the attack of the user the more it loses HP after it uses an Elemental Burst. Currently, there’s no other character that could benefit so well from the 4pc effect. Hu Tao also relies on losing HP on purpose, but she only does it once with her skill, making Crimson Witch a more viable option still.
Echoes of an Offering
2pc: ATK +18%
4pc: Normal Attack (NA) has a 36% chance to proc (once every 0.3s) a buff that boosts NA DMG by 60% of ATK. The buff expires 0.05s after the next NA that deals DMG. If a NA doesn’t proc the buff, the next NA will be 20% more likely to proc it.
Genshin finally introduced a new gacha system inside their own gacha game. The new artifact set has a small chance to proc its effects on each Normal Attack, boosting the damage of the next hit by a huge amount.
This set seems to be focused on characters with fast Normal Attack strings, just like Ayato when he activates his Elemental Skill. Some other characters like Keqing might benefit from the set, but with only a 36% chance to activate it, it might be too unreliable. We might have to wait for further tests to be sure if it’s worth it.
These new artifact sets will still be on the test for a while, so Xiao havers and Ayato havers-to-be will need to wait for it to end until they can finally get their hands on those strong items.

Genshin Impact is currently on its 2.5 version, “When the Sakura Blooms”, which brought the new playable character Yae Miko along with some character reruns, new story quests, events, weapons and enemies, including a new Weekly Boss.
You can play the game for free on mobile devices including Android, iOS, Playstation 4, Playstation 5 and Pc on both miHoYo’s official launcher and Epic Games Store. A Nintendo Switch version is stated to be in development.
