Genshin Impact 2.1: How to get all the new Secret Achievements

Every time Genshin Impact receives an update, we get more Secret Achievements, and it wouldn’t be different with the 2.1 version. The newest patch brought not only a conclusion to the Inazuma questline but also some new silly ways to get primogems.
Some are given simply by playing through the main story, while others require you to go out of your ordinary way, like killing a boss while following specific conditions.
To avoid making this article unnecessarily long, I’ll skip the forementioned achievements given by playing through the story and/or completing world puzzles.
Without further ado, here are the new secret achievements of the 2.1 update!
All Genshin Impact 2.1 Secret Acheivements
The Stranding of the Beagle
This achievement is given by finding all the unknown researcher’s notes. They are scattered all around Watatsumi Island.
You may have already found some while first exploring the island, like the one near the infamous Sudoku puzzle. The rightmost notes are also in the same location of the next achievement.
Today, this seal – Tomorrow, Watatsumi Island!
When you get to the island at the right of the map, you’ll find a Mirror Maiden between a locked Statue puzzle. Defeat her and complete the puzzle to unlock this achievement.
As You Wish
In order to get this secret achievement, you’ll end up finding many other secrets of the 2.1 version.
First, complete granny Komaki’s World Quest. After that, you can ask her to read your fortune once per day (in real life). Every day she’ll lead you to some kind of treasure. Some will be amazing, while others will be just ok.

After completing her 5th fortune (no need to be done in a row), you’ll get this achievement.
Cat in the Clouds
You get this by completing Neko’s questline, unlocked after completing “Seirai Stormchasers”, the quest required to unlock the Thunder Manifestation. These are similar to Komaki’s fortune reading, but there are 8 of them, and you can only complete one each day.
A Cat’s Gift
After the 4th day of helping Neko, a cat will appear near Fort Hiraumi. You must feed him every day with the recipe you learn from Neko, the Invigorating Kitty Meal. Repeat this through 4 days, and you’ll get a treasure and the achievement.
Tales of Monstruous Madness
You get this by getting all the Toki Alley Tales books. This includes the last volume, which can only be obtained randomly by fishing in Inazuma. Take your time while getting this one.
“That’s What They Call a Getaway”
While fishing, simply let the fish win the struggle after the first bite. You’ll lose your bait but will get some primogems. Worth it.
“Oh, so That’s How You Fish…”
You may have already got that achievement if you started fishing. You get this by throwing your rod close enough to a fish to scare him away.
Icy Rivers, Crimson Witch
You must defeat the new weekly boss, AKA La Signora, without destroying any of the heating/cooling devices in the room. If you haven’t got this already (as I did during my first fight since I didn’t notice I could break them), fight her in the lowest difficulty to make it faster. No need to get the loot.
Love and Non-Communication
You must beat the new boss, the Thunder Manifestation, without being locked on. This means avoid getting hit by its “walls”, which will lock its sight on you for the next attack.
Thunder Fall
This one can be tricky. You need to beat the Thunder Manifestation while it is in flight. This means dealing the last blow during his charging attack or while it’s throwing lightning rays on your head.
You can do this by simply using any bow user and leaving the boss on low HP. When it starts his charge, use your bow user’s auto attacks to kill him and get the achievement. Ganyu in particular can make getting this achievement (and the whole fight) much easier.

Bio-Oceanic Weapon
While fighting the Hydro Hypostasis, you must be hit by its… dolphins. What a weapon.
Dry Clean
Also on the Hydro Hypostasis, defeat it without killing any of its minions, the little slimelike enemies, with the exception of when it tries to revive.
Those are the currently known secret achievements of the 2.1 version. Hopefully, the next updates will give us even more secrets to discover through Teyvat.
Genshin Impact is currently on its 2.1 version, “Floating World Under the Moonlight”, featuring the conclusion of the Archon Quests in Inazuma, a new Weekly Boss, 2 new World Bosses, new characters and two new areas for exploration.
