Genshin Impact 2.0: How to get the new Inazuma sword

The arrival of Inazuma brought not only many new characters and areas to explore, but also many new powerful weapons to use on our characters, and among them, there’s the new sword, the Anemona Kageuchi.
This new sword is one of the many craftable weapons in Inazuma, and it has a great energy recharge passive, best used on characters with low Skill cooldown, like Bennett or Kaeya. It’s probably one of the strongest craftable weapons right now, and it’s worth investing in it after you complete the quest to get it.
The quest is named The Farmer’s Treasure, and it’s actually quite simple. You may have already completed some steps previously, so it will make it even easier.
Finding the new Inazuma sword recipe
The quest is centered on Narukami Island. Please note that to progress through it, you must first progress to a certain point in the Sakura Cleansing Ritual quest, one of the longest World Quests in Inazuma, also located on Narukami Island. You don’t need to complete the quest, but you’ll need to, at least, get to the Cleansing Defilement step.
First, you’ll need to explore the Jinren Island on the upper part of the map. While exploring this island, you’ll find some keys to free some prisoners (make sure you release Toratarou, please!). At its highest point, you’ll find a man (???) in a cage. The key for his cage is at the top of the biggest tree at the opposite side of the cage.
After freeing ???, he introduces himself as Saimon Jirou, and will ask you to find the 4 Old Stone Slates scattered around the island. Slates 2 to 4 are hidden in the undergrounds explored during the Ritual quest. It’s possible that you already had the Slates in your inventory, and that will save you a lot of time.

Return to Jirou and he’ll ask you to find the fifth Slate. This time it will be marked on your map, so it will be easier. Just go to the marked spot and start digging.After finding nothing, you’ll have to go back and confront Jirou, but after trying to trick you again, he ended up jailed once more. After finding him, you’ll have to fight lots and lots of enemies to rescue him.
When the fight is finally over, he’ll hand over the final key to the treasure. After using it, place your 4 slates on the missing spots and solve the puzzle. It’s similar to the ones found near the Perpetual Machine Array. All you gotta do is to not step on the same tile more than once.
Open the door to find…nothing. Aside from a lot of vegetables, of course. Your next step will be to take Jirou back to his family in Konda Village. After he gets scolded by his parents, they’ll finally reward you with something: The sword’s blueprint.
You’ll also get some Primogems and a Billet to create it right away. To forge your new sword, go to any blacksmith (the nearest being in Inazuma City) and ask him to forge it. The recipe requires a Northlander Sword Billet, 50 Amethyst Lumps and 50 White Iron Chunks.

Genshin Impact is currently on its 2.0 version, “The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia”, that introduced new characters, new weapons and an entire new region for exploration, along with many new systems and enemies.
