Huge Genshin data leak supposedly reveals future banners and characters

Following the official livestream for Genshin Impact 3.2, it seems like Genshin developer Hoyoverse slipped up once more while trying to hide its roadmap. A new Genshin data leak very similar to the one from the pre-3.0 release era has happened, supposedly revealing most of the (already speculated) next releases for the 3.x patches.

Leaks have become a regular occurance amidst the community. After trying to fight leakers with no avail for a long time, the company adopted its own way of “leaking” characters with the usual “drip marketing” in which they reveal the next upcoming characters by themselves way ahead of their release.

The difference here is that the leaked content was not taken from the beta test, nor some kind of vague info/speculations, but an actual huge Genshin data leak. This means it was possibly obtained directly from an employee who spilled the beans on the subjects.

This was way more serious than previous cases to the point that some of the most famous leakers such as Ubatcha refrained from spreading the info, as they fear for being targeted for being directly involved while they were only parsing over and spreading what they received.

But of course, this hasn’t stopped others from actually posting about these future updates, and we’re showing some of them here.

Genshin data leak information and roadmap

BLANK has been very active in revealing some of this data, but has also advised people on how everything could be simply outdated, so it must be taken with the usual grain of salt. If we still need to say it, everything is subject to change.

The previous character roadmap has been somewhat confirmed. Save Your Primos has posted the updated timeline for the next releases.

Wanderer will be Scaramouche’s playable version which should be released during the 3.3 update alongside his dedicated support named Faruzan, a 4-star Anemo Bow character. The other mentioned characters, aside from the new one for 3.6, have all had their screen time (well, YaoYao had it differently).

The new character has been introduced by BLANK as Blinder, an upcoming catalyst male character with no extra info yet. His name could yet be subject to change, as well as the whole character release roadmap.

The complete Genshin data leak contains a lot more information, and most of them have been covered by BLANK in some of his tweets. Some of the notable mentions go to an event schedule for 3.3, new Artifact Sets, new areas available for both Liyue and Sumeru, as well as expansions for the existing ones, and new info for the Ayaka and Lisa skins.

Some of these have been explicitly detailed in a compilated Reddit post that also contains some other leaks on the kits for said characters, ascension materials and more. All of that could change with time, so don’t go on pre-farming just yet.

There is also some other information on unmentioned characters, such as Dottore being possibly a Claymore user or data on Kaveh, who still hasn’t made his debut but could possibly be a Claymore Dendro character.

Some of the most interesting (and questionable) information from the Genshin data leak are details for future events such as new Archon Quests (aside from 3.2 and 3.2), more Weekly Bosses upcoming in the next patches and even data on gimmicks from Fontaine, which should only be released by 4.0 version.

The veracity of such elements is yet to be confirmed, but from the looks of it, the future seems very promising, and we hope to see these eventual releases soon.

Genshin Impact is currently available for PS4, PS5, Android, iOS and PC.
