Genshin Impact Faruzan: Leaks and release date of Scaramouche’s rumored support

While exploring new areas is something that players look forward to in Genshin Impact, the addition of exciting characters will always be one of the reasons why the game remains as successful as it has been since its release.

For instance, it can’t be denied that Genshin Impact fans have wanted to have Scaramouche, one of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers, as a playable character for the longest time. He was even speculated to become the first male catalyst user, except that this was proven false with Shikanoin Heizou‘s arrival.

However, with the release of Genshin Impact 3.0, things are starting to get better for the fans of the Fatui Harbinger. Scaramouche or the Wanderer is reportedly set to be released during the game’s 3.3 patch. And with his leaked release comes another character named Faruzan, who is speculated to be a dedicated support character for him.

When will Faruzan be released?

Recently, known leaker @genshinBLANK tweeted about the upcoming characters for the game’s version 3.1 to 3.3 patches. The new characters mentioned in this post include Cyno, Nilou, Candace, Nahida, Layla, Wanderer (Scaramouche), and Faruzan.

While the banner reruns in the tweet are speculative, the leaker says that “the new characters between 3.1 and 3.3 are 100% true.” Since Faruzan is presumably scheduled for release in the 3.3 version together with Scaramouche, they are expected to become available starting December 7th, 2022.

The leaker also added that Faruzan has the ability to create a black hole-like zone similar to the Stormeye of Venti‘s Elemental Burst, saying:

“I also want to provide some extra VERY EARLY INFO on Faruzan. Currently, she uses Ganyu’s Icons for her E and Q and can spawn a black hole like Venti’s and has some gadget called ‘Storm_Arashi'”

For her element and rarity, Faruzan is rumored to be a 4-star Bow user with the Anemo Vision. Her design is currently unknown.

Genshin Impact is an action role-playing game developed by miHoyo, also known as HoYoverse. The game is available for PC, PS4, PS5, iOS, and Android, while a release on Nintendo Switch is currently in the works.
