If you want to be stronger in Genshin Impact, knowing your highest damage dealt is essential to compare with, so here’s how you can check your previous best.

The Genshin Impact playerbase loves trying to push their damage to new heights, but it’s always going to be a struggle to tell if you’re improving if you don’t know how well you’ve done before. Plus, manually keeping track of the biggest number you’ve seen in the game is always going to be a bit of a nuisance.

Fortunately, Genshin Impact keeps track of your largest critical damage, and here’s how you can see for yourself.

How to check your highest damage critical strike in Genshin Impact

To check your highest damage dealt in Genshin Impact, pause the game using the Paimon menu. Head to the achievements sub-menu, and select the “Wonders of the World” Submenu. Use the search box to search for the achievement “Purveyor of Punishment”.

This achievement will have a Total: value underneath the completed text, which tracks the single hit with the highest damage you have thus far achieved in Genshin Impact.

Be aware that this method will only show your highest-ever critical strike damage. Theoretically, this should work for just about everyone, but if you’re a Kokomi-only player or have simply sworn to have 0 crit stats at all times, it might not accurately reflect your personal best.

If you do use Critical stats, then your biggest amount of damage dealt is almost certainly going to be a critical hit. As such, the method shown here should work without issue.

The good part about using the achievement for this is letting the game handle the tracking of it for you. If you think you just hit a new massive number against a boss, you can just check the achievement screen and see if you have a new personal best.

You won’t be able to rely on it to find out exactly when you did that damage, as the achievement only really cares about when it was unlocked the first time – that is, when you first dealt at least 50,000 damage in Genshin.
