Fortnitemares is in full swing on the Fortnite island, with the latest event being the fifth Halloween-themed event to take place in the game.

The popular PVE Horde Rush mode has returned with a Fortnitemares Cup currently taking place to win some free items.

When it comes to horror games, one series will always stand above the rest, Resident Evil, and in a very surprising turn of events, the two iconic franchises have joined forces to bring Resident Evil characters to the Fortnite island.

This isn’t the first time that Capcom has collaborated with Epic Games. Earlier this year the two collaborated to bring Ryu, Chun-Li, Guile, and Cammy from Street Fighter to the game, which caused many fans at the time to speculate as to whether we could see Resident Evil characters come to Fortnite too.

Epic Games has just released the first Resident Evil characters to come to the game, the iconic S.T.A.R.S duo of Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine.

Fortnite X Resident Evil collaboration is here

With the Item Shop rotation tonight it was revealed that Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine have come to Fortnite.

The two iconic characters first made an appearance as the two playable characters in the first Resident Evil game back in 1996.

Since then the two have joined forces on multiple other occasions, such as in Resident Evil 5’s DLC, and in Resident Evil Revelations.

Most recently, Chris Redfield played a supporting role in Resident Evil Village, which was released in May 2021, while Jill Valentine’s latest adventure saw her take center stage in the Resident Evil 3 Remake in April 2020.
