Fortnite: Tilted Towers to become The Block in Season 3

Last Updated on: 27th June 2022, 03:34 pm

Tilted Towers has remained one of Fortnite’s most popular POIs ever since was introduced in the game during Chapter 1 Season 2 all the way back in January 2018.

Throughout Chapter 1 Tilted Towers saw many different iterations including it being turned into Neo Tilted and Tilted Town. However, the POI was removed from the game throughout the entirety of Chapter 2 and players thought they would never be able to land in Tilted again.

Epic Games then clutched up in Chapter 3 Season 1 and brought Tilted Towers back and it has remained in the game ever since. But, with Epic Games holding some kind of grudge against Tilted which sees them destroy and change it on a regular basis, it shouldn’t be a surprise that they are set to overhaul the POI once again in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3.

Anyone that has jumped into Creative and tried to design their own island will know that it is incredibly difficult and our hats go off to anyone who can create a high-quality map.

When it comes to designing a building for The Block 2.0, players need to think about how it will work in both building and Zero Build modes.

Players need to consider movement in the building by utilizing sliding, mantling, and sprint jumping, as well as ensuring all areas can be reached without building.

The overall flow of the building is crucial. The area needs to flow well and make sense and feel like it could have been designed by Epic Games themselves.

How to submit your Block 2.0

Buildings must be submitted by June 15th so you have approximately one week at the time of writing this.
