Fortnite has been known to be that video game of collaborations. A giant that has partnered with artists to bring gaming and entertainment to a full spectrum of audiences. It has a list of big names on its belt and appears to be teasing to add one more name to that list – Eminem.

A significant part of the success of Fortnite is what sets it apart from the generic first-person shooting and survival game. The crossovers it has done throughout the years it has been out are no less than an organic part of what it is now. Epic Games has brought us celebrities like Bruno Mars and Anderson.Paak into the game with its Icon Series. There have also been notable interactive concerts from Ariana Grande, Travis Scott, and that party featuring Marshmello. Bringing the Real Slim Shady to that list is definitely not a longshot.

Collaborations of Fortnite are not just limited to artists and celebrities. Epic Games has also brought us our childhood heroes wearing their iconic outfits through skins while holding our favorite machine gun. Who would have taught Naruto and Spiderman could ever be part of the Epic Games universe, not to mention the addition of Goku in its recent collaboration with Dragon Ball Super.

According to a recent tweet from HYPEX, a known source of Fortnite leaks and news, “Eminem is the ONLY artist playing on Fortnite’s ICONs radio right now. Potential collab?” The tweet also included a list of iconic songs from the rap god:

  • Godzilla (ft. Juice WRLD)
  • Headlights (ft. Nate Russ)
  • Phenomenal
  • Higher
  • Not Afraid
  • Venom
  • Lighters (ft. Bruno Mars)
  • Fall
  • Monster (ft. Rihanna)
  • Walk on Water (ft. Beyoncé)
  • Berzerk
  • Survival

This radio station first aired in February of this year and played songs from a string of featured artists like Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X, Drake, and more. However, this is a rather odd scenario as there appears to be only one artist being featured on ICON Radio. With this mystery, we can smell a big surprise from both Fortnite and Eminem.

We are yet to hear from Epic Games to make this collaboration official. The only thing left to do is for Fortnite to make an official announcement confirming this epic crossover with the 15-time Grammy award-winning rapper. The same story can be said in the camp of Eminem.

If Eminem is indeed gracing the Epic Games universe with his presence, then we can expect skin and other cosmetics related to the rapper. If this is the case, we might soon see the iconic Eminem wearing a white mask and carrying a chain saw, or perhaps the items shop would have the plain white shirt with baggy pants for purchase. Of course, everyone is hoping for an interactive concert from Eminem. Imagine him and the Master of Thuganomics in a rap battle that would be the talk of the game for ages.

Perhaps one of the most infamous members in the house of Fortnite is the WWE Superstar himself, John Cena. Not many people know, but he did have a brief rapping stint during his Smackdown years. He was actually the voice behind his own opening song, Basic Thuganomics. Although this possibility is unlikely, it would still be epic to see both of them on the same stage.

Epic Games sure knows how to tease its players with enough hints to keep them pumped up for its online games. Regardless if this was intentional marketing or just a coincidence everyone is making a big fuss about it, we all know Chapter 3 Season 4 will be a big one.

Fortnite is available now on PC via Epic Games Store, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
