Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga Trooper Pack DLC: New characters and release date

With over 300 playable characters, it feels like Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga wants to cover everything there is in the Star Wars universe.

Surely, players will find characters that suit their tastes, but if they still find the content and roster of the game a little wanting, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has also provided some expansions players can pay for. 

There are currently seven DLC character packs. With some of them already released, one interesting to-be-released pack will surely catch the eye of fans. 

The character pack in question is The Trooper Pack.

What’s in The Trooper Pack? 

Unlike other packs which are focused on memorable characters from Star Wars films or TV shows, The Trooper Pack adds a few varieties of Imperial Stormtroopers to the roster. 

The pack says: 

Play as the soldiers of the Empire from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Solo: A Star Wars Story, and The Mandalorian.

  • Incinerator Stormtrooper 
  • Range Trooper 
  • Imperial Shoretrooper 
  • Mimban Stormtrooper

What makes this pack interesting? 

Players may or may not like this pack due to the fact that the characters it includes are simply different varieties of Stormtroopers. 

To be fair, there are still some notable characters in the Star Wars universe that has immense potential to be part of the DLC, and some players might feel like The Trooper Pack is a little odd and unnecessary. Moreover, as they are all Stormtroopers in this pack, these characters might turn out to be bland and not necessarily unique from each other. 

However, these are all speculations and all the more reason why The Trooper Pack is interesting and something to look out for. 

The Trooper Pack is included as part of the pre-order bonus for Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. However, it will become available to purchase on May 4 alongside The Mandalorian Season 2 and The Bad Batch packs.
