EA opting to only release Dead Space Remake on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S will certainly be the right choice as it will allow the game to help push the boundaries of what can be achieved on current hardware.

Now that we’re in the third year of the current generation of consoles, the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, we’re finally starting to see the PS4 and Xbox One be excluded when it comes to new releases, and this will allow graphics to really begin advancing.

Ahead of the release of Dead Space Remake, EA has released the PC requirements for the game. Can your PC run it? Let’s find out.

Console Specs

When it comes to the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions, there are two different quality modes you can choose from, as we’ve seen in many games so far this generation.

The first is the Quality mode, which locks the game at 30fps, but can hit 4K resolution with ray-tracing. The second is Performance mode, which allows for 60fps but at 1440p without ray-tracing.

Can Your PC Run Dead Space Remake?

Overall, the specs for Dead Space Remake are as expected. They are quite reasonable to achieve a good playing experience, with an over 6-year-old GTX 1070 being the minimum requirement.

But, if you want to crank the graphics settings up, your system will need to be more modern, although the RTX 2070 and RX 6700 XT are both two generations old at this point.

Of course, the recommended requirements will get you to 1080p/60fps on medium/high settings. If you’re looking to up the resolution to 1440p or 4k, you will likely need to be looking at the RTX 30 series or even 40 series to get the best visual experience possible.
