Hogwarts Legacy PC Requirements: Can Your PC Run It?
Hogwarts Legacy is the first new game in the Harry Potter universe for many years, although it takes place long before the events of the books/movies in the 1800s, so don’t expect to see Harry, Ron, or Hermione.
But you will get the chance to become a member of Hogwarts and become a wizard in this open-world action RPG.

Overall, we would say that these requirements are very demanding, although that is not surprising. We are now in the third year since the next generation of consoles was released, the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
This means that we are finally beginning to see the last generation phased out and the shackles being taken off the developers so they can really push the limits of modern hardware, especially at 1440p and 4k.
Despite Hogwarts Legacy releasing on the PS4 and Xbox One, it does look like the developers are favoring the current gen and PC platforms.
If you want to play in 4k, you will need to have very up-to-date hardware, with the RTX 3090 Ti and RX 7900 XT being the best GPUs money could buy until very recently when Nvidia and AMD released their next products.
Even at 1080p/60fps, Hogwarts Legacy looks to be very demanding, with the requirements sitting firmly in what would be a lower mid-ranged build today, an Intel i7 8700 or Ryzen 3600 paired with either a GTX 1080 Ti or RX 5700 XT. Unless you are more of an enthusiast, you will probably be playing at 1080p. However, it is worth noting that often the requirements are overstated, and gamers can get better performance than advertised. It is very likely this will also be the case with Hogwarts Legacy.
