Playstation Plus July 2022 Leaks Revealed: Free PS Plus Essential PS4 and PS5 games

When it comes to subscriptions, Playstation Plus never fails to disappoint gamers, with the July 2022 subscription certainly being a month to be excited about!

In the last few months, Playstation Plus has brought players some highly popular games to subscribers, including God of War, Fifa 22, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and let’s not forget SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom!

The new lineup of free games is certainly not going to disappoint players, with something for everyone, and some big savings to be had on the full retail price.

PS Plus July 2022 release date

Sony typically follows the same pattern when it comes to revealing the next PlayStation Plus games for the following month and then the actual release date.

If the company continues this same tradition then we can expect Sony to officially reveal the July 2022 PlayStation Plus games on Wednesday, June 29th.

This will then be followed by the release of the next PlayStation Plus games on the first Tuesday of the month, which lands on July 5th.

These are the games that we can expect to see in July 2022.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, was first released by Activision in 2020, originally released for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One, with later releases for the Playstation 5, Xbox Series X, and Series S, Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Windows.

Crash Bandicoot was first released on the Sony Playstation on the Playstation 1, in 1996, and remains a firm favorite with gamers today. Crash Bandicoot 4 is the 8th game in the long-standing series. The game follows the story of Crash Bandicoot and his sister Coco, as they try to stop the dreaded Doctor Neo Cortex and Doctor Nefarious Tropy from taking over the multiverse.

With the help of Aku Aku masks and a new addition of Quantum masks – a series of 4 unique masks scattered throughout the levels- these new masks grant Crash and Coco special abilities to help overcome obstacles. The third-party game continues to delight fans, with the platform game being suitable for Gamers young and old, with its colorful graphics, and fun, lively music.

Arcadegeddon, rating a huge 4.6 out of 5 stars on the Epic Games website, is a multiplayer shooter game. Players can explore biomes, play mini-games, and defeat various enemies and bosses along the way.

Gilly, is an owner of a local arcade, who is striving to save his business from entering the hands of a heartless mega-corporation. He creates one big super game, but the game is hacked and injected with a virus. Players must help Gilly and save his arcade.

Published by Illfonic, the game features a whole host of brightly colored weapons and characters, as well as fun music and a mix of PVE and PVP gameplay. A must-have game for all the family.

The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan

And last, but by no means least, the July 2022 subscription is leaked to be giving gamers The Dark Pictures Anthology, Man of Medan.

This interactive drama is a survival horror game, published by Bandai Namco Entertainment and developed by Supermassive Games. With a planned 8 installments, this is the first of the series of games.

The game takes place in the South Pacific Ocean and tells the tale of four students, and the captain of a boat Duke of Milan. As they are forced to sea by pirates, they come across what seems to be a ghost ship, encountering phantom creatures.

Originally released in August 2019 for the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows, this game is sure to leave you hanging on the edge of your seat, with a few jump scares along the way.
