Fortnite Override Recap is live for Chapter 7 Season 4, showing your wins, eliminations, XP, Sprite extractions, favourite landing spots and most-played modes. You can also see the playstyle Epic has assigned to you, then save or share a personalised recap card. It’s free and available at fortnite.com/recap.

Epic released the recap on October 26, 2026, and the share cards shown so far are stamped Updated October 25, 2026. Matches and Sprite extractions after that date may not be included. If you’ve seen friends comparing cards online, here’s how to find your own and understand the numbers.

How to get your Fortnite Override Recap

  1. Open fortnite.com/recap in a browser on your phone or PC.
  2. Click Sign in to see your recap.
  3. Log in with the Epic Games account linked to your usual Fortnite character.
  4. Scroll through your personal statistics, drop zones, Sprites and favourite modes.
  5. At the bottom, choose a recap card and select Save Recap or Share Recap.

You won’t find the Fortnite Override Recap in Fortnite’s in-game menus. It’s on Epic’s official website. Console players can access it too, provided they sign into the Epic account linked to their console profile.

What stats are included in the Fortnite Override Recap?

Recap sectionWhat it shows
Play StyleYour nickname, such as The Shark
Victories / Matches PlayedWins and matches counted for the overview
Eliminations and XPEliminations recorded and XP points earned
CombatK/D ratio, headshots and most eliminations in one match
SurvivalAverage Battle Royale placement, Storm circles survived and quests completed
DistanceDistance travelled on foot, in vehicles and overall
Sprites ExtractedTotal extractions, most extracted Sprite, your rarest extraction and top drop-in Sprite
Drop-ZonesYour favourite named landing spot and the most popular named drop overall
Favourite ModesYour most-played modes and their match totals

The full page shows more than the tall screenshot people post online. In the Drop-Zones section, your personal favourite is shown next to the most popular named landing spot overall. For example, one shared recap lists Chopped Shop as that player’s favourite with three landings, while Green Hill Zone accounts for 14% of named drops across all players. Those are different measurements.

The Favourite Modes section can list Fortnite OG (Zero Build), Battle Royale (Zero Build) and Save the World separately. Their match totals don’t necessarily add up to the Victories / Matches Played figure on your overview card, because the panels cover different slices of activity. Open the full Fortnite Override Recap on a computer if a friend’s screenshot shows more detail than your share card.

What does The Shark playstyle mean?

The Shark is one of the playstyle nicknames shown on the recap. The description says “Wins fights and wins games.” It’s a way of describing your season, not a rank, outfit or reward. Other players can receive different names.

Epic hasn’t publicly listed the exact thresholds for every nickname. The Fortnite Override Recap doesn’t give you a challenge to unlock The Shark, so don’t assume there’s a particular number of wins or eliminations you need.

Fortnite Override Recap Sprites: extracted, rarest and top drop-in

Your Sprite section shows how many times you extracted Sprites, which Sprite you extracted most often, the rarest one among your recorded extractions and the Sprite you brought into matches most frequently. One shared example lists Jonesy Sprite as most extracted, Gold Jonesy Sprite as rarest and Crown Sprite as top drop-in. Those are that player’s results, not a global rarity ranking.

The total Sprites Extracted isn’t the same as a unique collection count. You can extract the same Sprite more than once. For the individual designs, use our Fortnite Sprite picture checklist, or check the Sprite Mastery rewards if you’re still building your collection.

How to save and share your Fortnite Override Recap

At the bottom of the Fortnite Override Recap, use the arrows to choose a share card. Select Hide username first if you’d rather keep your Epic display name private. Share Recap lets you share the card, while Save Recap downloads an image you can keep.

The stats are tied to your signed-in Epic account. Someone else can’t open your personal Fortnite Override Recap just by typing your username into the website, but screenshots you post can be seen and passed around like any other image.

Why aren’t your latest Fortnite matches or Sprites showing?

Check the date printed under your username first. The cards seen since launch say Updated October 25, 2026, so matches or Sprite extractions after that date may be missing even if they counted in-game. Epic hasn’t confirmed another refresh. Your Final Spritemare activity may therefore be newer than the Fortnite Override Recap statistics.

If your recap is blank or shows the wrong name, log out and make sure you’ve chosen the Epic account you actually play on. If a login link gets stuck inside a social media app, try opening the official site directly in your normal browser. The Fortnite Override Recap uses account data; it isn’t a public player search.

When does Fortnite Override Recap end?

Epic’s Chapter 7 Season 4 deadline is tied to the Battle Pass, which Epic lists as ending on November 1, 2026, Eastern Time. Epic hasn’t separately confirmed when the recap page will disappear. Saving your cards now is safer than assuming you’ll be able to retrieve them next month.

Epic hasn’t advertised any V-Bucks, outfits or XP rewards for opening the Fortnite Override Recap. It’s a season summary, not a reward challenge. Save the cards you like if you want to compare them with your next season.
