Fortnite Mastery Monday November 2 started at 9 AM EST (2 PM GMT), bringing double Sprite XP, double Sprite Dust and more Sprite Chests and Wanted Posters to Crossbones Isle. The November event is aimed at players working on their Sprite collection.
There is a good reason to take advantage: mastering 40 Sprites earns the Navigator’s Nosedive Umbrella. Here are the worldwide start times, what’s included in the bonus and how to use the extra Chests.

What Is Doubled During Fortnite Mastery Monday November 2?
Fortnite Mastery Monday November 2 doubles exactly two Sprite rewards: Sprite XP and Sprite Dust. It’s a Sprite progression bonus, not double Battle Pass XP.
There will also be more Sprite Chests and Wanted Posters across Crossbones Isle. Tear down a Wanted Poster from a wall to get a Sprite Treasure Map, follow it to the marked spot and dig up the buried Sprite Chest. More posters mean more chances to start that route.
Epic doesn’t promise exact spawn locations or drop percentages. See our Double Sprite Dust farming guide and Wanted Posters walkthrough for a step-by-step route.
Best Things to Do During Fortnite Mastery Monday November 2
Start with the Sprites you haven’t mastered yet. The doubled XP helps you level them, while the extra Chests and Posters give you more opportunities to add missing characters.
- Check the Sprites screen. Look at the characters you still need. The updated screen can display Sprites in numbered order and has new Sprite Stamps showing how you acquired them.
- Search for Wanted Posters and Sprite Chests. Take advantage of their boosted presence on the Island during the event.
- Try Exmarks or Wayfinder. Exmarks detects nearby Wanted Posters and Treasure Maps. Wayfinder shows nearby Sprites and provides extra loot from Buried Chests.
- Work on mastery, not just collection. Levelling Sprites and completing their mastery goals brings you closer to the season’s milestone rewards.
- Check the Treasure tab again. That is where Epic places the returning Sprite Mastery reward track, with another page opening each week.
Exmarks and Wayfinder are particularly useful here. Exmarks reveals nearby Wanted Posters and Treasure Maps, while Wayfinder detects other Sprites. All 11 new characters are listed in our Treasure Hunters Sprites guide. Our Exmarks guide also explains how to find Wanted Posters more easily.

Does Fortnite Mastery Monday November 2 boost Pirate Shop drop rates?
Mastery Monday increases the number of Sprite Chests and Wanted Posters, but that is not a published boost to the rare Pirate Shop Access reward from ordinary Battle Royale Chests. Epic has not announced an increased Pirate Shop drop percentage for this event. The two systems should not be treated as the same thing.
If you’re chasing Pirate Shop Access, our Pirate Shop drop-rate guide explains the available evidence. For the event itself, focus on collecting and mastering Sprites while the XP and Dust bonuses are active.
Does Fortnite Mastery Monday November 2 help unlock Navigator’s Nosedive?
Yes. The bonus XP can help with Sprite levelling, and the new mastery track rewards players who master 40 Sprites with Navigator’s Nosedive. Just opening 40 Chests is not enough.
Mastery also upgrades the Sprite Mastery Strongbox Back Bling and opens rewards such as Lucky Locators, Golden Fireworks and other Gizmos. The Strongbox and the 40-Sprite umbrella are different rewards. Our Navigator’s Nosedive Umbrella guide explains the 40-Sprite goal separately so you know exactly what to work towards.
Is This the Same as Captain’s Days or Treasure Hours?
No. Fortnite Mastery Monday November 2 is the weekly Sprite XP and Dust event. Captain’s Days introduce new weapons and Sprites on specific dates, while Treasure Hours is the separate Sunday event.
The next confirmed Captain’s Days follow the season opener on November 7, 12, 14 and 21. Mastery Monday is instead a recurring Monday opportunity to improve the Sprites already in your collection and look for more around the Island.
