Nitrodrome, Redline Rig and Brutal Beachhead were among the main new destinations. The Nitrodrome served as a prominent arena, while the other locations reflected the wasteland faction’s territory.
The terrain and new buildings encouraged vehicle action. The scenery was less about the stately Greek temples of Season 2 and more about road combat, industrial areas and improvised strongholds.

How the Nitrodrome changed the Wasteland
As an arena in the desert landscape, the Nitrodrome was one of the clearest ways to recognise Wrecked. Redline Rig and Brutal Beachhead supported the same theme with machinery, fortifications and dusty terrain. The season turned stretches of the map into places where vehicle combat was expected rather than incidental.
The Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 map still shared some destinations with earlier Chapter 5 seasons, but the Wasteland was a pronounced change in its southern geography. You can see how much territory acquired a new visual identity when you open the previous season’s map beside it.
