Fisch Aquarium customisation expanded on October 24, 2026, with four purchasable layouts: Tranquil, Auction House, Skydock and Music Venue. Furniture can now sit on shelves and tables, and switching layouts saves your previous arrangement instead of clearing your decorations.
Players can still use their Personal Aquarium for passive rewards, but the latest update focuses on how the room looks. Below you’ll find where to buy layouts and furniture, historical price examples and what the update actually confirms about the new options.
Fisch Aquarium: How to unlock and open it
Reach Level 25, then open the Aquariums tab near the top right of the screen. The Personal Aquarium displays fish and also earns passive C$, XP and items. Decorating isn’t required for earnings, so first work out whether you’re building a showcase or improving your farming setup. You can visit other players’ aquariums as well.
Fisch Aquarium: All four October 2026 layouts
The October 24 update introduced Tranquil, Auction House, Skydock and Music Venue as new purchasable room styles. They change the surroundings, not the number of earning slots. Tranquil gives a calmer aesthetic, Auction House takes inspiration from the Auction House, Skydock is a sky-themed space and Music Venue adds a performance-style setting. Preview the available choices before paying.
Fisch Aquarium: How much do layouts cost?
Use the Construction workstation in your aquarium to view layouts and buy one. Developers confirmed that the four October additions are purchasable but didn’t specify their individual prices or requirements in the announcement. The older Wide layout was available for 50,000 C$, but that price must not be applied to the four new designs. Check the actual purchase screen for each layout rather than saving towards an unsupported number.
Fisch Aquarium: Buying furniture from the Furnisher
The Furnisher is on Sunstone Island, where you can browse furniture stock and purchase decorations using C$. Furniture selections rotate, so a specific chair or themed object may not be in stock when you arrive. Older June 2026 prices include chairs at 8,000 C$, benches at 12,000 C$, couches at 35,000 C$ and premium gaming setups around 300,000 C$. These are historical examples; verify your current shop listing before buying.
Fisch Aquarium: How to customise furniture placement
Open your aquarium and press Customize to enter editing mode. Here you can move and position furniture around the room. As of October 24, tables and shelves can hold other furniture placed on top, allowing layered decorations. Several furniture objects also received smaller hitboxes, reducing awkward collisions when you arrange objects close to one another.
Fisch Aquarium: Saved layouts and switching rooms
Your furnishings now save separately with the layout. If you swap from your decorated Tranquil aquarium to Music Venue and then return, the game should restore the arrangement you had saved in Tranquil. That fixes an earlier issue where moving between layouts could clear your furniture. You still need to unlock each room, and the ability to restore a design does not mean every layout is free.
Fisch Aquarium: Fish displays and earning slots
The aquarium’s cosmetic fish display isn’t the same thing as putting fish in the slots that earn C$, XP and items. You can showcase catches without expecting every decoration to improve your earnings. Fish assigned to the active earning setup determine the rewards. If you want higher passive income, concentrate on the fish you’ve chosen for those slots rather than buying expensive furniture.
Fisch Aquarium: Storage and passive income
The Storage Crate gives extra space to hold aquarium items and works like a simpler backpack for items received through aquarium play. Passive rewards can arrive when you’re offline as well, but offline earnings are reduced compared with online income. Room appearance and expensive furniture are not documented as multipliers for your earning rate.
Fisch Aquarium: Best first purchases
If you’re mainly interested in collecting passive rewards, begin with your available fish and affordable furniture; there is no evidence the four new October layouts earn more money than the default room. For decoration, start with the style you like and plan around larger furniture before filling gaps. A few shelves and small objects can create more variety now that stacked placement works. Compare the in-game prices for Tranquil, Auction House, Skydock and Music Venue before committing your C$.
