The event began at 09:00 BST on 15 October and ends at 14:59 GMT on 2 November. The UK changed from summer time to GMT during the event, so the different time-zone labels in the official schedule are deliberate. The closing time is just before 3pm, not midnight.
For FFXIV All Saints’ Wake 2026, the event cutoff is also the quest cutoff. Starting We Scare Bears on the final day won’t let you finish its follow-up after 14:59 GMT. If you want the costume, make the quests your first job rather than leaving them until the last few minutes.
How to start FFXIV All Saints’ Wake 2026: We Scare Bears location
The starting NPC is the pumpkin-headed apparition in Old Gridania at X:10.2 Y:9.4. Square Enix lists a level 15 requirement. You don’t need to repeat a previous Halloween event: find the apparition and take this year’s quest.
- Reach level 15 or higher on the character earning the costume.
- Travel to Old Gridania, X:10.2 Y:9.4.
- Speak to the pumpkin-headed apparition and accept We Scare Bears.
- Follow the seasonal quest objectives and complete Grim and Grisly Games.
- Confirm you’ve received the Grisly Bear Head and Grisly Bear Suit before the event closes.
We Scare Bears introduces the apparition’s otherworldly acquaintances. Its follow-up, Grim and Grisly Games, is associated with the Dire, Dire Deepcroft achievement in the official Lodestone achievement records. Use the objectives shown in your quest journal for the live interactions rather than following an old event route.
FFXIV All Saints’ Wake 2026 Grisly Bear Head and Suit rewards
The two costume pieces are the Grisly Bear Head and Grisly Bear Suit. They make up the stitched, brightly coloured bear outfit shown in Square Enix’s seasonal artwork. The head and body are separate equipment pieces, so you can glamour them together or mix them with other clothing.
Follow the seasonal chain through Grim and Grisly Games to earn the bear glamour. Accepting We Scare Bears only begins the story; it doesn’t itself mean you’ve collected both costume pieces. Before leaving the event, check your inventory and quest completion so you don’t miss your main reward.

The Smiling Wakeshroom and Staring Wakeshroom are spooky mushroom decorations, while the Wakesoul Buggy is a minecart furnishing inspired by the Phantoms’ Feast setting. The three advertisements bring older All Saints’ Wake artwork into housing as wall-mounted and tabletop decorations.
These six items are listed as event furnishings, separate from the bear outfit. Square Enix’s preview doesn’t publish an individual price for each item or say that every furnishing automatically appears in your inventory after the quest. Check the event shop for the items you want.
FFXIV All Saints’ Wake 2026 bespectacled peddler and older items
Square Enix confirms that the bespectacled peddler offers certain items from previous All Saints’ Wake celebrations. If you missed earlier decorations, check the peddler’s stock during the event rather than assuming the returning items are part of the new bear costume reward.
The decorated event venue and the Phantoms’ Feast imagery provide the Halloween setting, but they don’t replace the starting quest in Old Gridania. To earn the costume, complete the seasonal quests; to shop for furnishings and older goods, speak to the event merchant.
Can you complete FFXIV All Saints’ Wake 2026 after the deadline?
No. Square Enix specifically warns that seasonal quests cannot be completed after the event concludes. The published end is Monday, 2 November 2026 at 14:59 GMT. Even if you accepted We Scare Bears earlier, leaving the chain unfinished will not keep it open after that time.
Finish the two quests and confirm the bear head and suit before browsing the rest of the event stock. Square Enix says dates and times can change, so check the official announcement for any schedule adjustment. That is especially useful if you’re playing close to the deadline.
