After all the dust settled on the fifth day of MSI 2022, four teams have moved on to the “Rumble” stage. At the top of each of their respective groups at a perfect record, G2 Esports and Royal Never Give Up moved on. Both teams were the favorites of their group, so it was no surprise to see them here.

Following these two, PSG Talon from Group B and Evil Geniuses from Group C have also moved on. Of the two, PSG Talon was the biggest surprise.

The way that they started the tournament did not instill confidence in the team. In fact, the team that people were expecting to move on at the end of the first day was the team from CBLOL, the RED Canids.

Even though they didn’t manage to take a game off of G2 Esports, Evil Geniuses managed to move on with a record of 4-4.

The other team in Group C, ORDER from Oceania, did not win a game at all in the tournament and was sent home along with the fastPay Wildcats and RED Canids. Their next hope is to make it to the World Championships at the end of October.
