How to Get the Diver’s Knife in Battlefield 6

Diver’s Knife in Battlefield 6 is unlocked by completing the full Deep Six Collection Event before it ends on October 12, 2026. EA describes the Royal Navy Diver’s Knife as the ultimate Deep Six reward, so this is not a normal Battle Pass tier or a store purchase you can grab immediately.

Your path to the knife is the event itself: complete Deep Six contracts, gather Intel Devices and keep advancing the Collection Event track across Battlefield 6 and REDSEC until the full collection is finished.

Diver’s Knife in Battlefield 6 sits at the end of Deep Six rather than behind one isolated challenge. Update 1.4.3.0 says players earn event rewards by completing contracts and gathering Intel Devices, while the Tidal Strike event guide states that each completed challenge moves the collection closer to the final Royal Navy blade.

That wording is important because it means there is no legitimate shortcut in the published rules. You cannot simply complete one knife-themed task and stop. If the event page still shows unfinished collection progress, the final weapon is not yet earned.

Where Deep Six progress counts

Diver’s Knife in Battlefield 6 can be pursued across both Battlefield 6 and Battlefield REDSEC. EA specifically designed Deep Six to span the two experiences, so REDSEC players are not locked out of the event and Multiplayer players do not have to live in Battle Royale for a month.

The September 15–22 free trial also includes a Deep Six Event Playlist with Contracts, which means non-owners can start the chase without buying Battlefield 6 first. Our Deep Six event guide explains the broader event structure and reward categories.

Use contracts and Intel Devices together

Diver’s Knife in Battlefield 6 becomes much easier to plan around if you treat contracts and Intel Devices as two parts of the same event loop. Check the active contracts before you queue, then choose a playlist where those objectives are realistic rather than forcing them into a mode that fights your playstyle.

EA also tells players to keep an eye out for Intel Devices throughout Battlefield 6 and REDSEC. They contribute to event progression, so ignoring them slows the same collection that ultimately unlocks the knife. The event is deliberately spread across different activities rather than tied to pure kills.

When does the Diver’s Knife become unavailable?

Diver’s Knife in Battlefield 6 must be earned during Deep Six, which runs through October 12. EA has not announced a separate post-event unlock route for the blade in the launch materials, so anyone who wants it should treat the Collection Event deadline as the only guaranteed window.

That does not mean you need to panic on day one. The event lasts almost four weeks, far longer than the seven-day free trial. The sensible pace is regular progress rather than an all-night grind in the first 24 hours.

What to do if the knife has not unlocked

Diver’s Knife in Battlefield 6 should only appear once the full Collection Event completion requirement is satisfied. If you think you are done, reopen the Deep Six event page and check for an unclaimed reward, an unfinished contract or missing collection progress before assuming the weapon is bugged.

Diver’s Knife in Battlefield 6 is one of the clearest Tidal Strike rewards because EA has been explicit about the requirement. Finish Deep Six, make sure every required event step is complete, claim the final reward before October 12 and the Royal Navy blade is yours.

If you buy Battlefield 6 later, the full game reads that same EA Account progression. EA’s REDSEC support page explicitly says progress, unlocks and settings carry over seamlessly when you purchase the full experience.
