Disney Dreamlight Valley Oogie Boogie Tiles: All Four Locations and Puzzle

Disney Dreamlight Valley Season of Scares official Halloween event artwork

Dreamlight Valley Oogie Boogie Tiles are the four rewards from Oogie Boogie’s Week 5 games. Complete the Lucky Wheel, Hidden Smiles, Lava Pond and Whack-a-Pumpkin objectives, then collect the four pieces before starting the Royal Shovel puzzle.

Three Oogie Boogie Tiles appear near the games and have to be picked up manually. The fishing tile goes straight into your inventory. If you’ve finished every activity but the tile puzzle says you’re missing something, the locations below should save you from repeating all four games.

Where to find all four Dreamlight Valley Oogie Boogie Tiles

Minigame Requirement Tile pickup
Genuinely Lucky Wheel Spin five times Chest next to the wheel
Hidden Smiles Find five grins Fenced area near dice and left stairs
Lava Pond Fish the bubbling ripples Automatically enters your inventory
Whack-a-Pumpkin Smash ten pumpkins Beside the starting lever

You can start collecting Oogie Boogie Tiles after completing Rescue Mission, opening Oogie Boogie’s Week 5 mailbox letter and making the Genuinely Lucky Wheel. The wheel needs six Lucky Wheel Cogs: five from the broken wheel in The Ghost in the Portrait, plus one in the new Week 5 letter. Carry it through the Strange Mirror inside Scrooge’s Store and give it to Oogie Boogie to open the four activities in his lair.

Dreamlight Valley Oogie Boogie Tiles: Lucky Wheel chest

The first of the Dreamlight Valley Oogie Boogie Tiles comes from the Lucky Wheel beside Oogie Boogie. Interact with the repaired Lucky Wheel five times. The earlier spins can reward other prizes, but the fifth spin completes the quest goal. Look beside the wheel for a spawned chest and open it to receive the tile.

If your quest tracker already shows five spins but the tile is missing, you probably walked away before opening the reward. Return to the base of the Lucky Wheel and check the nearby chest before trying to spin again.

Dreamlight Valley Oogie Boogie Tiles: Hidden Smiles reward

You need five green smile markings around the upper level. Find them on the large dice near the wheel, the skeleton in the enclosure behind those dice, the inside wall of Whack-a-Pumpkin, the wall near the skeleton display beside the right stairs, and the nightmare clock behind the tile game. Interact with each one.

The Hidden Smiles reward is the easiest of the Dreamlight Valley Oogie Boogie Tiles to walk past. When your counter reaches five out of five, go back to the small fenced enclosure next to the dice at the top of the left staircase. Pick up the tile from the floor inside. Completing the grin hunt alone does not put it in your bag.

Dreamlight Valley Oogie Boogie Tiles: fish the Lava Pond

For the third of the Oogie Boogie Tiles, walk down to the lower floor and find the Lava Pond in the centre of the Mirror Lair. Equip your Royal Fishing Rod and cast into the available bubbling spots. Keep fishing until you hook the tile. This one is added straight to your inventory, with no separate reward chest or pickup in the room.

If you don’t get it on the first ripple, fish the other spots. There are several available, and the quest completes once the tile is caught. Check your bag before spending time looking around the upstairs maze.

Dreamlight Valley Oogie Boogie Tiles: pumpkin lever

Go back upstairs to the fenced Whack-a-Pumpkin challenge. Activate the lever beside its entrance and use your Royal Pickaxe to smash ten pumpkins. You can play additional rounds until all ten have been counted. When the challenge ends, the reward spawns near that same lever. Pick it up to add it to your collection.

If the pumpkin reward is missing after ten smashed pumpkins, stand outside the enclosure and inspect the ground next to the lever. Don’t confuse the finished minigame objective with having collected its reward.

How to use Dreamlight Valley Oogie Boogie Tiles in the shovel puzzle

Take your complete set to the Tile Mini-Game Station upstairs, towards the right-hand staircase. Interact with the station and insert all four tiles. Equip the Royal Shovel and dig on the picture squares to change the image shown on each section. Work across the four squares until their borders connect.

For this quest, the correct finished image is Jack Skellington against a blue background. Each tile needs to show the corresponding part of that portrait. Avoid the green Oogie Boogie picture and artwork with insects or bats; these are other tile states, not the completed Week 5 solution.

When the Oogie Boogie Tiles form the correct picture, cracks appear in the Mirror Lair. Talk to Oogie Boogie and leave through the Strange Mirror to complete Let the Games Begin and receive the Lucky Wheel furniture reward. Oogie Boogie joins your Valley after the final Week 6 quest, opening October 28.

Dreamlight Valley Oogie Boogie Tiles: missing or uncollectable reward

Start with the four collection points: wheel chest, dice enclosure, fishing inventory and pumpkin lever. If you have a full bag, make space before collecting a floor reward. A few players have reported a tile becoming difficult to pick up after an unsuccessful collection with full inventory, but there is no independently established universal workaround.

If the Oogie Boogie Tiles pickup prompt fails even after clearing inventory space, save and restart the game. Keep your quest items and note exactly which minigame reward is missing if you need to contact Gameloft support.
