Build a Boat Cake Ingredients are Milk, Butter and Egg in the anniversary bakery stage of Build A Boat For Treasure. Reaching the bakery is not enough to finish the Hunt quest: you need to collect all three oversized ingredients, let the baking sequence complete and then touch the finished cake.
The useful thing about the Build a Boat Cake Ingredients objective is that there is no complicated recipe order. Drive or move into the Milk, Butter and Egg props inside the bakery, watch each item tick off the checklist, then wait for the mixer and oven sequence to produce the 20-candle cake.

| Ingredient | What to look for |
|---|---|
| Milk | A giant milk carton on the bakery floor |
| Butter | A large stick of butter in the bakery area |
| Egg | An oversized egg near the kitchen and counter area |
All three Build a Boat Cake Ingredients are collected by touching them with your character or boat as you move through the bakery. There is no separate inventory puzzle and no need to carry one ingredient back to a mixing bowl manually.
How to reach the bakery in Build a Boat for Treasure
Before looking for Build a Boat Cake Ingredients, accept the Roblox 20 event quest and launch a controllable boat. A small build with a seat and motor is enough. The objective is to survive the river long enough to reach the event bakery rather than sail all the way to the normal treasure chest.
Keep the build compact so it is easy to steer into the bakery stage. Once the bakery loads and the ingredient checklist appears, stop treating the river as the objective. The cake is the finish line for this event quest.
How to collect the three cake ingredients
The Build a Boat Cake Ingredients are large enough to spot once you are inside the bakery. Move through the kitchen floor and make contact with the Milk carton, Butter and Egg. Watch the on-screen ingredient list to make sure each one actually registers before moving on.
You do not need to collect them in a special order. If Milk registers first, that is fine. If the Egg is closest to your boat, take it first. The only requirement is that all three boxes are completed so the automated baking sequence can begin.
What happens after you collect Milk, Butter and Egg?
After the Build a Boat Cake Ingredients are complete, the bakery takes over. The mixer combines the batter, the mixture moves into a pan and the oven produces a decorated anniversary cake with 20 candles.
Wait for that sequence to finish instead of leaving as soon as the checklist disappears. When the cake appears, jump or drive onto it. Touching the finished cake is the important completion trigger that awards the event badge and marks the Build A Boat portion as complete.
Why is the Build a Boat Hunt quest not completing?
If the Build a Boat Cake Ingredients checklist looks complete but the quest has not finished, check whether you touched the final cake. Simply entering the bakery or collecting the third ingredient is not the last interaction.
If one ingredient refuses to register, move away and make contact with the prop again. Confirm the event quest was accepted before the river run and make sure the ingredient checklist is visible. A normal Build A Boat session without the anniversary objective active will not behave like the Hunt route.
What reward do you get for baking the cake?
Finishing the Build a Boat Cake Ingredients route and touching the cake completes the featured-game objective tied to Build A Boat for a Top Hat. After the badge appears, return to The Hunt hub and make sure the year reward is claimed before moving on.
The anniversary reward is separate from normal Build A Boat treasure progression, so you do not need to continue through every later river stage once the cake objective has registered. The bakery sequence is what matters for this Hunt quest.
Use the official The Hunt: Roblox 20 experience to reach the correct year. If Build a Boat Cake Ingredients are the only part holding you up, focus on Milk, Butter, Egg and the final cake touch rather than rebuilding a huge boat.
