Brawl Stars Brawler Blast Rewards can add Power Levels, a Gadget, a Gear, a Star Power, a Hypercharge or a Buffie to the Brawler you unlock. The rewards come from Gem Fragments revealed while targets are removed from the Brawler Blast shooting gallery.
There are important limits on Brawl Stars Brawler Blast Rewards. One opening can give no more than one Gadget, one Gear, one Star Power, one Hypercharge and one Buffie, while bonus Power Levels are capped at +10. Some upgrades can also be awarded before the Brawler reaches the Power Level needed to use them.
All Brawl Stars Brawler Blast Rewards
- Bonus Power Levels, up to +10 in one opening.
- One random Gadget at most.
- One random Super Rare Gear at most.
- One random Star Power at most.
- One Hypercharge at most.
- One random Buffie at most.
Those are the current categories for Brawl Stars Brawler Blast Rewards. The system does not simply hand out one generic bonus after the Brawler unlock. Different Gem Fragment results can convert into different parts of that Brawler’s progression.

How Gem Fragments decide the reward
A target can reveal between one and four Gem Fragments. One fragment converts to +1 Power Level. Two can become +2 Power Levels, a random Gadget or a random Super Rare Gear. Three can become +3 Power Levels or a random Star Power. Four can become +4 Power Levels, a Hypercharge or a random Buffie.
You can collect multiple fragment reveals during the same gallery, which is why the overall Brawl Stars Brawler Blast Rewards are subject to opening-wide limits. Even if several targets produce suitable fragment results, the opening will not exceed one reward from each capped ability category.
Can you get a Hypercharge from Brawler Blast?
Yes. A four-fragment result can convert into a Hypercharge. You can receive a Hypercharge even when the newly unlocked Brawler has not yet reached the normal Power Level required to use it. The Hypercharge remains attached to the Brawler until you can activate it through normal progression.
The exception is a Brawler that has not been fully released. Brawl Stars Brawler Blast Rewards cannot include that Brawler’s Hypercharge while the Brawler is still in early access. Once the Brawler is fully released, the restriction no longer applies.
Can you get a Buffie from Brawler Blast?
Yes. Buffies share the four-fragment reward tier with Hypercharges and +4 Power Levels. Brawler Blast can award one random Buffie in an opening, provided the unlocked Brawler has been fully released and has an eligible Buffie available.
As with Hypercharges, the game can award the Buffie before you meet the usual Power Level requirement to use it. That makes Brawl Stars Brawler Blast Rewards useful even when the unlocked Brawler begins at a relatively low Power Level.
Can you get Gears, Gadgets and Star Powers early?
Yes. Supercell specifically says Brawler Blast can award Gears, Gadgets, Star Powers, Hypercharges and Buffies before the Brawler has reached the Power Level required to use those abilities. The reward is owned, but normal usage requirements still matter in the Brawler’s progression.
Brawler Blast also has a unique rule for Gears: Supercell identifies it as the only source of random Gears. A two-fragment result can become a random Super Rare Gear rather than two Power Levels or a Gadget.
What is the maximum Power Level reward?
The opening-wide cap is +10 Power Levels. That does not mean every strong opening automatically raises a Brawler by 10 levels. It is simply the maximum amount of Power Level progression that Brawl Stars Brawler Blast Rewards can add in one opening.
The exact result depends on the Gem Fragments revealed as targets fall. A single fragment gives +1 Power Level, while two, three and four-fragment results have their own Power Level option alongside the ability rewards listed above.
What you should check after the unlock
Once the final target becomes your new Brawler, open that Brawler’s progression screen and check more than the starting Power Level. Look for a newly owned Gadget, Gear, Star Power, Hypercharge or Buffie as well. Some of those upgrades may already be owned even though the Brawler is not yet high enough level to use them.
That is the key difference with Brawl Stars Brawler Blast Rewards: the gallery can unlock a Brawler and accelerate several parts of that Brawler’s build at the same time, rather than ending as soon as the character is added to your collection.
Why the reward screen can look better than the starting level suggests
Brawl Stars Brawler Blast Rewards are applied across several progression systems, so a newly unlocked Brawler can own useful abilities before all of them are immediately usable. A low starting Power Level therefore does not mean the opening was poor. Check the full build screen before deciding what the gallery actually gave you.
That is why Brawl Stars Brawler Blast Rewards need to be checked across the full build screen. The system is designed to attach progression to the unlock itself. That makes Brawl Stars Brawler Blast Rewards different from simply receiving a Brawler and then beginning every upgrade from scratch.
