Brawl Stars Amber Buffies cover five upgrades across Amber’s Gadgets, Star Powers and Hypercharge. Amber received changes built around making her oil, fire and movement tools matter more for space control rather than only raw sustained damage. The current effects come from Supercell’s August 2026 release notes, with September 16 maintenance changes applied where they altered the launch values.

The easiest way to understand Brawl Stars Amber Buffies is to separate the normal ability from the Buffie attached to it. Every entry below shows what the original Gadget, Star Power or Hypercharge does first, then the extra effect the Buffie adds. That avoids mixing a reworked base ability with its enhancement.

All Brawl Stars Amber Buffies

AbilityTypeBuffie effect
Fire StartersGadgetThe Buffie lets Amber have 2 Oil Barrels deployed.
Dancing FlamesGadgetThe Buffie coats Amber in flames, giving 20% movement speed and dealing 400 damage to enemies she touches.
Wild FlamesStar PowerAmber gains 15% movement speed while she is near fire or Fire Fluid.
Scorching SiphonStar PowerThe Buffie increases the duration of the fire status by 1 second.
Oil SpillHyperchargeThe Buffie makes Amber’s main attack projectiles apply the same fire status as lit petrol.

This is the current five-part Brawl Stars Amber Buffies set. Some of the abilities were also reworked in the same update, so the Buffie is not always the only thing that changed. That matters most for players returning after a break and comparing the new kit with an older build.

How Amber’s Buffies fit the base kit

Fire Starters: Gadget and Buffie

Fire Starters normally works like this: Amber summons an Oil Barrel that spills oil when destroyed. The Buffie lets Amber have 2 Oil Barrels deployed. Two barrels give Amber more ways to seed oil around the map, but each barrel is easier to remove after the maintenance nerf.

September 16 reduced the Oil Barrel health from 1,750 to 1,300.

Dancing Flames: Gadget and Buffie

Dancing Flames normally works like this: Amber creates 3 flames that orbit her for 5 seconds and deal 945 damage on contact. The Buffie coats Amber in flames, giving 20% movement speed and dealing 400 damage to enemies she touches. The extra movement speed changes the Gadget from a purely defensive ring into a mobility tool as well, while contact damage makes walking directly through Amber more dangerous.

Wild Flames: Star Power and Buffie

Wild Flames normally works like this: Amber’s Fire Fluid sticks to Brawlers and leaves an oil trail as they move. Amber gains 15% movement speed while she is near fire or Fire Fluid. The Buffie gives Amber a personal mobility benefit around the very zones she is trying to control, even though the sticky oil trail now persists for less time than it did at launch.

September 16 reduced the oil trail duration from 3 seconds to 1 second.

Scorching Siphon: Star Power and Buffie

Scorching Siphon normally works like this: Amber reloads ammo whenever an enemy takes fire damage from burning oil, excluding damage from her main attack. The Buffie increases the duration of the fire status by 1 second. Extending the burn gives the Star Power a longer window to trigger reload value from burning oil, provided the enemy is actually taking the qualifying fire damage.

Oil Spill: Hypercharge and Buffie

Oil Spill normally works like this: Amber’s Hypercharged Super creates a larger oil area and keeps burning for 3 seconds after ignition. The Buffie makes Amber’s main attack projectiles apply the same fire status as lit petrol. The effect still adds fire status to the main attack during the Hypercharge window, but the damage attached to that Buffie is substantially lower than its original launch value.

September 16 reduced the Hypercharge Buffie burn damage from 500 to 240.

September 16 balance changes to know

Several parts of this set were changed shortly after launch. Fire Starters: September 16 reduced the Oil Barrel health from 1,750 to 1,300. Wild Flames: September 16 reduced the oil trail duration from 3 seconds to 1 second. Oil Spill: September 16 reduced the Hypercharge Buffie burn damage from 500 to 240.

What the Buffies do not change

Brawl Stars Amber Buffies do not erase the original Gadgets, Star Powers or Hypercharge effects. They add an extra layer on top. If you are comparing two builds, check whether the value you care about belongs to the normal ability, the Buffie, or a later balance adjustment.

Quick summary

The current Brawl Stars Amber Buffies set gives Amber five separate enhancements. Use the table above for the extra effects, then check the individual guides for the exact base ability, maintenance changes and the interaction that matters for each upgrade.

For Brawl Stars Amber Buffies, the current Supercell wording is the safest reference because later maintenance can change a number without changing the underlying mechanic.

That distinction keeps Brawl Stars Amber Buffies useful as a current mechanic guide rather than a copy of an older launch-day description.

When checking Brawl Stars Amber Buffies against older clips or screenshots, use the newest maintenance value whenever Supercell has directly changed the same ability.

The practical point with Brawl Stars Amber Buffies is to separate the normal ability from the extra Buffie effect so the two are not accidentally treated as one description.

For Brawl Stars Amber Buffies, most of the extra value comes from turning fire and oil into stronger map-control tools. Fire Starters and Wild Flames affect where Amber can establish pressure, while Dancing Flames, Scorching Siphon and Oil Spill change what happens once enemies are already close to her fire-based effects.

When comparing Brawl Stars Amber Buffies, keep the source of each effect clear. Some bonuses depend on oil or burning targets, while others directly improve Amber’s movement or contact pressure. That distinction matters when checking whether a Buffie helps before ignition, during a burn, or while Amber is repositioning.
