Blood of Dawnwalker respec arrived with Update 1.1 on October 22, 2026. Draught of Mind Rebirth lets Coen forget abilities in Swordmastery, Witchcraft and Vampirism, then invest the time spent learning them in different skills.
You no longer need a fresh campaign to change a build you aren’t enjoying. The publisher confirms the potion’s effect, and players have located two merchants selling it. The price and restocking rules are less clear, so check the shop inventory before planning repeated resets.
Blood of Dawnwalker respec: where to buy the Draught

The easiest reported source for the Blood of Dawnwalker respec potion is Anca, a merchant in Laslea Glen. Players checking the live update say she carries Draught of Mind Rebirth. Open her trade inventory and look for that exact item name.
The other reported seller is the Matriarch in Uriash Village. A player shared their discovery on October 22. Depending on quest choices, she may be unavailable in your save, making Anca the better first stop. These are community findings, not an official full vendor list.
The 1.1 notes provide no fixed price, crafting recipe or restock timer for the Draught. Trust the price shown in your own game. There also isn’t evidence that every alchemist sells it.
How to use the Blood of Dawnwalker respec potion
Make a separate manual save before using your Blood of Dawnwalker respec. A new allocation may play very differently, and saving lets you return to the old build. Check that version 1.1 is installed; the potion wasn’t part of the original release.
- Open the merchant inventory, find Draught of Mind Rebirth and buy it if available.
- Create a manual save you can return to.
- Read the consumable description and use the potion from the inventory.
- Follow the character-development reset screen to reinvest the returned resources in Swordmastery, Witchcraft and Vampirism.
- Review your chosen abilities and assigned attacks before returning to combat.
The patch says you recover time spent learning abilities. That is skill-development time, not time on the campaign clock. Completed quests remain completed; drinking a Draught doesn’t give you additional story days.
One early player reported that the allocation screen wouldn’t finish while returned time segments remained unassigned. If confirmation is greyed out, look for unused points or time. Treat this as a player-reported tip, not a documented official menu rule.
Which skills can you reset?
The Blood of Dawnwalker respec covers all three skill trees: Swordmastery, Witchcraft and Vampirism. Think about your daytime sword skills as well as your nighttime powers. Our day and night guide explains why the choice matters.
The notes don’t clarify how quest-granted abilities, ability books or special prerequisites behave during a reset. Check what the game actually gives back. A potion cannot be relied on to unlock skills you haven’t otherwise qualified for.
Coen’s abilities differ between day and night, and that remains true after a reset. Our day and night guide explains the two forms if you’re deciding whether to concentrate on weapon skills, magic or nighttime movement.
Can the Blood of Dawnwalker respec be used more than once?

Unlimited Draughts, merchant restocks and crafting haven’t been confirmed. Save before spending your first potion, particularly if you’re experimenting. Finding one item for sale doesn’t prove you can buy as many as you want.
The Blood of Dawnwalker respec won’t return time spent on quests, travel or other activities. That is a different system, covered in our time-system guide.
Can’t find the Draught or finish the reset?
Can’t find the Draught? Check that 1.1 is installed, then inspect Anca’s trade menu rather than just her dialogue. If she’s unavailable in your save, try the Matriarch. No third guaranteed seller has been established.
If the reallocation screen won’t finish, check for unused returned resources. If something behaves strangely, reload your separate save instead of overwriting it. The developer hasn’t documented a Draught-specific crash or official workaround.
Does the Draught cost money?
Update 1.1 is free on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Respeccing needs no paid expansion, although the merchant may charge in-game currency for the Draught. Use the price shown in their shop.
The Blood of Dawnwalker respec offers a way to switch from a sword-focused build to Witchcraft or Vampirism without losing a campaign. Start with Anca, save first and check the returned skill-time total carefully.
