The Astro Bot portal locations are hidden inside ten main story levels. Each secret portal unlocks a new stage in the Lost Galaxy, where more bots and puzzle pieces can be collected.
There are two Astro Bot portal locations in each of the five main galaxies. Finding all ten portals and completing the unlocked levels also opens Final Encore.

Inside the temple, locate the wall containing four burning torches.
Knock out the two lower flames, then flip the nearby ladybug and use its launch pad to reach the upper pair. Extinguishing all four reveals a hidden room.
Pull the disco ball inside to activate the Fan Club portal.

Grab the pig by its tail and return towards the previous area.
Throw the pig at the large frozen seal sculpture above the ice rink. Climb into the newly opened area and perform a charged spin attack over the marked floor.
Drop into the hidden chamber and activate the Funky Fungi portal.

After defeating Captain Pincher, do not immediately use the normal exit.
Move to the right side of the boss arena and look for the spot where one of the crab’s claws struck the ground.
Perform a charged spin attack over the marked floor and drop into the hidden room containing the Light Bulb Limbo portal.

After climbing the tree while small, continue until you reach the rooftop before the clock section.
Instead of travelling right, move left and break the blue floor panel using Astro’s hover lasers.
Shrink down and activate the bubble-blowing frog. Ride a bubble onto the tree branch above to reach the Boxel Bust-Up portal.

Bathhouse Battle Portal Location

After filling the pool and enlarging the sponge platforms, climb onto the rooftop containing the fire enemies.
Head left instead of following the main route. Climb onto the red torii gate and jump into the pink tree.
Spray water into the burning chimney, then jump inside to reach the Furnace Fever portal.

Once Big Brother has been freed, return towards the beginning of the level.
A stone structure will now be visible in the water. Approach it to make an electric alien appear.
Stand on one of the two lightning panels and allow the alien’s attack to strike it. Repeat this on the second panel to open the Ghouls & Bots portal.

Hieroglitch Pyramid Portal Location

Reach the end of Hieroglitch Pyramid and ignore the normal finish platform.
Walk behind it and continue towards the wooden boards at the back of the room.
Jump towards the boards and activate the Steel Ball ability to smash through them. Astro will be launched into the hidden area containing the Rocket Pull Power portal.
Balloon Breeze Portal Location

After receiving the Balloon ability, backtrack towards the previous ladybug.
Bounce from the ladybug, glide outwards and inflate Astro to reach the floating pot in the distance.
Cut through the bamboo using the DualSense controls, then use Astro’s hover lasers inside the metal ring around the portal’s eyes. This activates the Danger Dojo portal.

After defeating Djinny, turn away from the normal exit and climb the ruined wall behind Astro.
Break the pot at the top. Its fragments will appear to float, revealing the first invisible platform.
Follow the dark stone squares visible in the sand below to judge the position of each invisible platform. Cross to the far side, hit the magic carpet and ride it to the High-Suction Hero portal.

Near the end of Frozen Meal, reach the area containing four electric enemies and two penguins rolling a large snowball.
Defeat the enemies and push the snowball towards the wall between the two tall rectangular rocks.
Climb onto the snowball and jump to the ledge above. Pull the wire, then use the suction ability to remove the ice blocks covering the Turtles in Trash portal.

Final Encore does not have a secret portal hidden inside a main level.
To unlock Final Encore:
- Find all ten Astro Bot portal locations.
- Complete all ten unlocked Lost Galaxy levels.
- Return to the Lost Galaxy map.
- Open the present that appears in the centre.
Final Encore contains five additional bots and two puzzle pieces.
