The Astro Bot Tracker makes it easy to record every Bot you rescue, Puzzle Piece you collect and level you complete during Astro’s enormous PS5 adventure.
Astro Bot is packed with colourful planets, hidden collectibles, secret exits, challenge stages and familiar PlayStation characters. It is wonderfully easy to lose track of what you have completed, especially once new galaxies and additional levels begin appearing on the map.

How to Use the Astro Bot Tracker
Our Astro Bot Tracker is designed to work as a simple companion while you play.
Open the galaxy you are currently exploring, locate the relevant level and enter the number of Bots and Puzzle Pieces you have collected. You can also mark an entire level as complete once you are happy that you have found everything available there.
Your progress is saved automatically in your browser, so you can close the page and return later without beginning again.
The tracker includes several useful controls:
- Search for a particular level.
- Expand or collapse complete galaxies.
- Hide levels you have already completed.
- Record the Bots found in each stage.
- Record the Puzzle Pieces collected.
- Mark individual levels as complete.
- View your overall completion percentage.
You do not need to register for an account or provide any personal information. However, because the information is stored in your browser, your progress will not automatically transfer to another phone, tablet, computer or browser.
What Is Included in the Astro Bot Tracker?
The Astro Bot Tracker is focused on Astro Bot for PS5, released in 2024. It is not intended for Astro Bot Rescue Mission or Astro’s Playroom, which are separate games.
The original Astro Bot adventure launched with six galaxies and more than 80 levels to explore. Team Asobi subsequently expanded the game with speedrun stages, challenge levels, Special Bots and the festive Winter Wonder stage. The additional Vicious Void content eventually pushed the game beyond 90 levels.
The tracker covers the main adventure and the free post-launch content, including:

Track Every Astro Bot Galaxy
The main Astro Bot adventure sends players across a collection of galaxies filled with standard stages, shorter challenge levels and large boss encounters.
The Astro Bot Tracker separates these destinations so you can concentrate on one part of the game at a time.
Gorilla Nebula
Gorilla Nebula introduces the central mechanics of the adventure, but its early levels still contain Bots and Puzzle Pieces that can easily be overlooked. It is worth returning after unlocking more areas of the Crash Site to check that nothing has been left behind.
Tentacle System
The Tentacle System introduces another selection of imaginative planets, new abilities and hidden routes. Use the tracker to record your progress before moving deeper into Astro’s journey.
Serpent Starway
Serpent Starway contains larger adventures alongside its own challenge stages and boss encounter. Mark each completed destination as you clear the galaxy.
Camo Cosmos
Camo Cosmos continues to increase the difficulty and hides collectibles in increasingly inventive places. Checking the tracker after every stage can save a great deal of backtracking later.
Feather Cluster
Feather Cluster is one of the later areas of the main adventure and contains some of the game’s most memorable locations. By this point, the Astro Bot Tracker becomes particularly useful for identifying any gaps in your collection.
Lost Galaxy
Lost Galaxy stages are not discovered in the same way as ordinary planets. They are unlocked by locating secret exits hidden inside certain levels.
Because those exits can be missed, it is possible to finish much of the main story without seeing every Lost Galaxy destination. The dedicated section of the tracker helps you check which secret levels you have found and which ones remain locked.
Track Bots and PlayStation Characters
Rescuing Astro’s scattered crew is one of the main objectives of the game. The original release contained 300 Bots, with approximately half based on characters from PlayStation history.
Some Bots are standing in relatively obvious places, while others are hidden behind environmental puzzles, enemies, breakable objects or unusual interactions.
The Astro Bot Tracker allows you to enter how many Bots you have rescued from each level. This makes it much easier to identify the planets you need to replay instead of checking every location manually.
Additional updates have also introduced new Special Bots. Five speedrun levels released from October 2024 contained ten more Special Bots, while later challenge stages added further characters to rescue.
Track Every Puzzle Piece
Puzzle Pieces unlock new facilities and features at the Crash Site. These collectibles are spread throughout the game and are often concealed just outside the most obvious route.
Some can be spotted while travelling between planets aboard the Dual Speeder, while others are found inside the levels themselves.
Enter your collected total beside each stage in the Astro Bot Tracker. Any incomplete counter gives you an immediate indication of where your missing Puzzle Pieces may be located.
Does the Astro Bot Tracker Save Progress?
Yes. The Astro Bot Tracker saves your selections locally in the browser you are currently using.
You can leave the page, return later and continue from the same point. There is no save button because your progress is updated whenever you change one of the tracker fields.
Clearing your browser storage, using private browsing or changing devices may remove or separate your saved progress. For the best results, continue using the same browser on the same device.
Can I Reset the Astro Bot Tracker?
You can reset the tracker when beginning a new playthrough or when another person wants to use the same device.
Resetting removes the saved level, Bot and Puzzle Piece information stored by the tracker in that browser. Your Astro Bot save file on the PS5 is not affected.
Only reset the Astro Bot Tracker when you are certain you no longer need the progress currently displayed.
